| Abstract: | Diels-Alder reaction between quinone mono-, diimines, and methylenequinone imines of 4,4a-dihydropyrido1,2-a]-3H-benzimidazole series and cyclopentadiene proceeds endo-stereoselectively at the unsubstituted π-bond of the quinoid ring affording a mixture of diastereomeric cycloaddition adducts. |
