Lau effect: OTF theory |

| Abstract: | The Lau effect is an interference phenomenon involving two gratings and incoherent illumination. Here the Lau effect is described in terms of the OTF theory. It is shown that this analysis is equivalent to that given in terms of coherence theory. |
