Abstract: | ![]() The photoluminescence in the amorphous and crystalline forms of arsenic triselenide appears to arise from similar localized states. We have identified transient photo-induced absorption from the excited states of the luminescence centers in both forms. Measurements of the decay rates and absorption spectra of the luminescence centers in the crystal and the glass are compared. Differences between the crystal and the glass are discussed. |
