Abstract: | ![]() Superoxide generated in DMF readily converts the dihalovinyl group of permethrin and related compounds to a haloethynyl moiety and yields major products from elimination reactions of DDT, -chlordane, and 1,2-dibromo-3-chloropropane (DBCP). |
