| Abstract: | Different methods are applied to solve the electrostatic potential of a circular dipole layer. The so called continuation method (i.e. continuing from the special values on the symmetric axis to whole space) is explained properly in some detail. The electrostatic potential of a pair of circular parallel plates, charged oppositely and separated by a finite distance, is given as well. |
