| Abstract: | The K-shell fluorescence yields are calculated to be equal to 0.013 and 0.028 respectively for 3P and 1P multiplet states of 1s1 2s2 2p5 configuration of neon. This observation can significantly effect analyses of ion-atom collision experiments where in X-ray production cross-sections are measured. |
