Crystal and molecular structure of bis[2-ethylamino-4-n-propylamino-6-methoxy-1,3,5-triazine] copper(II) dichloride. 2-Ethylamino-4-n-propylamino-6-methoxy-1,3,5-triazine

The title compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with 2 formula units C₂₇H₅₁Cl₂CuN₁₅O₃ in the unit cell. The lattice constants are a = 11.298(2), b = 16.024(4), c = 11.977(3) Å, α = 111.64(2), β = 102.59(2), and γ = 94.46(2)°. The crystal structure was determined by the conventional R = 0.147. The complex formation and the conformations of the three independent triazine molecules are discussed.
