The polarisation of the recoil sigma in the reaction π+p → K+Σ+ has been measured at 12 production angles at a beam momentum of 1.11 GeV/c using counters and spark chambers. The new data are compared with existing phase shift solutions of πp → KΣ channels in the low energy region. |
