Abstract: | We demonstrate herein that polyimino resin 4a prepared by condensation of α,α′-dichloro-p-xylene, ethylenediamine and tris-(2-aminoethyl)-amine can be successfully exploited as a quench reagent for acids and electrophiles both in aqueous and organic solutions. Scope and limitations of such a resin as a solid support for peptide synthesis were also investigated. |
