| Abstract: | The synthesis of isoindolinones from N-methoxybenzamides and alkenes has been achieved by Pd-catalyzed ortho sp(2) C-H activation and intramolecular oxidative amidation, which involve the cleavage of four bonds and formation of two bonds. |
