The motion of a tube of vorticity with a cross sectional radius that is everywhere small compared to local radius of curvature of the tube is considered. In particular, we determine the inviscid motion of the 3D space curve that traces the centerline of the tube for an arbitrary distribution of axial vorticity within the core. |
