| Abstract: | The enthalpies of ionization of benzoic acid have been determine microcalorimetrically at 298.15 K in water-ethanol mixtures by measuring directly the heats of neutralization of sodium benzoate with perchloric acid. The ionization enthalpy curves showed min. and max. in the water-rich region. |
