| Abstract: | The frequency shifts of sound field maxima that are caused by the variability of the medium in an oceanic waveguide are described. The condition under which the time spectrum of the frequency shifts of interference maxima is proportional to the time spectrum of fluctuations in the dispersion characteristic of the waveguide is determined. |
