 设计并建立了可测量金刚石压砧(DAC)加载下材料高压声速的激光超声系统。该系统采用脉宽为6.3 ns的调Q激光器作为超声波激发光源,使用光纤位移干涉仪和速度干涉仪混合系统进行超声位移探测,不需要借助其它任何参数即可直接测量样品的高压声速和原位厚度。利用该系统,测量了2.6 GPa压力下铜样品的高压纵波声速和原位厚度,并给出了测量结果。  相似文献

Abstract

Phosphate-based bioactive glasses and their glass ceramics for 47P2O5– (30.5)CaO–(22.5 ? x)Na2O–xZrO2 for different ZrO2 contents (x = 0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5, and 6.0 mol%) were prepared through melt quenching and controlled heat treatment procedures. The amorphous nature of glasses and the presence of crystalline phases in glass ceramics were studied by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies. The density, molar volume, ultrasonic velocities, attenuation, elastic constants, and microhardness of glass and glass ceramics were used to study the structural changes. The formation of hydroxyapatite layer on the surface of glasses and glass ceramics after immersion in simulated body fluid (SBF) was explored through XRD, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses. The results indicate that the added ZrO2 increases the crosslink density of glasses, resulting in network stability, and also induces the formation of an apatite layer on the surface of glasses.

The interaction of surface acoustic waves generated by laser line source in the thermoelastic regime with surface notches are investigated. The finite element method is used to establish the model of the transient displacement field for surface notches with various depths and orientation. The magnitude of the signal enhancement in the near field and the mechanism by which this occurs are explained. The positions of notches were evaluated by the reflected Rayleigh wave. The depths and orientations of the notches were also determined using a shear wave that was generated through mode conversion of a surface acoustic wave at the notch tip. The results agree with previously published experimental measurements.  相似文献

We exploit theoretically a class of rectangular cylindrical devices for noise shielding by using acoustic metamateriais. The function of noise shielding is justified by both the far-field and near-field full-wave simulations based on the finite element method. The enlargement of equivalent acoustic scattering cross sections is revealed to be the physical mechanism for this function. This work makes it possible to design a window with both noise shielding and air flow.  相似文献

A beam-steering C-scan system for laser generation and detection of ultrasound in opaque solids has been developed. For ultrasound detection, the system uses a confocal Fabry-Perot interferometer that is stabilized at its high-sensitivity point by implementing a novel procedure that does not require a reference beam. This stabilization procedure effectively compensates for slowly varying (up to 2 Hz) disturbances and, more important, for any change in the interferometer illumination conditions while probing different scanning points. For the latter reason, the proposed stabilization appears to be more effective than previous approaches for high-sensitivity ultrasound detection in beamsteering scans. Noise performance and sensitivity limit of the system are evaluated. Ultrasonic echoes are detected in aluminum samples having optically rough surfaces with single-pulse generation signal-to-noise ratios on the order of 20 dB. A C-scan inspection is performed where a known defect in the test piece is successfully detected by time-of-flight gating of the ultrasonic signals.  相似文献

Defect imaging using scanning laser source technique has been investigated for a plate with rounded defects and notch-type defects in our previous studies. This paper examines frequency dependence of the defect images with both calculations and experiments in order to acquire clearer images. Both calculation and experimental results for a straight notch revealed that clearer images of notch-type defects can be obtained in the range of low frequency-thickness product below about 200 kHz mm. Moreover, images of the defects of various shapes were obtained by synthesizing images from eight receiving transducers, and similarly to the case of the straight notches, they became more clearly in the low frequency range.  相似文献

The present work is related to acoustic in situ free-field measurements of sound absorption in porous materials, such as cellular plastic foams, glass-wool or recycled felt materials. The emphasis is given towards fine metrology of absorption in view of potential industrial applications. A powerful ultrasonic array working at 40 kHz is used. It enables to measure absorption acoustical data down to 100 Hz due to the exploitation of the non-linear ultrasonic demodulation phenomenon in air. Fine measurements of acoustic absorption are compared to numerical predictions based on the “equivalent-fluid” model (when the squeleton frame is motionless), and to some measurements performed on a Brüel and Kjaer impedance tube. Dispersion curves are also measured and compared to the numerical predictions for some automotive felt materials which are compressed at various ratios. Data obtained with a dedicated portable instrument are also discussed for the same type of materials and configurations.  相似文献

An acoustoelastic method for residual stress measurement in slightly orthotropic materials by using ultrasonic longitudinal and shear waves is presented. A shear transducer with small vibrator 2 × 2mm2 is developed and described, and the measurement of 2-D residual stresses in a seam welded plate was carried out by this method with the shear transducer developed.This project was supported by National Natural Science Fundation of China  相似文献

For non-destructive testing applications it is often necessary to limit the number of cycles in a pulse produced by ultrasonic transducers. Usually a backing with a high ultrasonic attenuation and with an acoustic impedance chosen to match that of the piezoelectric active element of the transducer is employed. The acoustic properties of the commonly used tungsten/Araldite backings are compared theoretically with those of composites made by pressing tungsten powder with a powder of a plastic metal. The change in ultrasonic velocity and attenuation due to scattering by the tungsten particles is investigated and the dependence on frequency is determined.  相似文献
