Finite-time boundedness and finite-time weighted L2-gain for a class of switched delay systems with time-varying exogenous disturbances are studied. Based on the average dwell-time technique, sufficient conditions which guarantee the switched linear system with time-delay is finite-time bounded and has finite-time weighted L2-gain are given. These conditions are delay-dependent and are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Detail proofs are given by using multiple Lyapunov-like functions. An example is employed to verify the efficiency of the proposed method. 相似文献

Two simple criteria for global robust stability of Hopfield-type interval neural networks with delay are presented. The criteria turn out to be modified versions of an earlier criterion due to Cao, Huang, and Qu. Examples show the effectiveness of the modified criteria. In this paper, the author studies the stability of delayed reset control systems with distributed state resetting. First, the concept of distributed state reset is proposed which is capable of compensating for the performance deterioration caused by time delays. Second, a sufficient condition for asymptotical stability based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method is proved, and a sufficient condition in terms of LMIs to ensure asymptotical stability of reset systems with piecewise constant reset mappings is obtained. Last, an illustrative example is provided to show that compared to the traditional reset scheme, the proposed distributed state reset scheme is potentially capable of achieving better performance. 相似文献

Statistical physics and information theory is applied to the clinical chemistry measurements present in a patient database containing 2.5 million patients' data over a 20-year period. Despite the seemingly naive approach of aggregating all patients over all times (with respect to particular clinical chemistry measurements), both a diurnal signal in the decay of the time-delayed mutual information and the presence of two sub-populations with differing health are detected. This provides a proof in principle that the highly fragmented data in electronic health records has potential for being useful in defining disease and human phenotypes. 相似文献

To determine the permeabilities from a vertical interference test, earlier investigators proposed correlations or type curves
based on point source solutions or partially penetrated well solutions. However, it is impossible for these correlations or
type curves to cover all possible scenarios in the real world. In more recent years, people use regression analysis to simultaneously
match the pressure responses at the source interval and the observation point. With regression analysis, we face the problem
of non-unique solutions. Sometimes, estimated permeability could be outside a reasonable range when analyzing noisy data from
real tests. In this paper, a new technique is presented to estimate horizontal and vertical permeabilities from the time-delayed
response in a wireline vertical interference test. In a vertical test, a pressure drawdown test period is followed by a pressure
buildup test period. Because of the delay in response, the pressure at the observation probe continues to drop for some time
while the pressure at the source interval is being built up. The maximum pressure drop at the observation probe with regard
to the maximum pressure drop in the source interval is time-delayed. Using this time delay and the maximum pressure drop at
the observation probe, vertical and horizontal permeabilities can be estimated. A novel numerical scheme is used. The new
technique is compared with the previous methods, and it shows its superiority in accuracy. In addition, it can be used in
different test configurations. Application issues in real testing conditions are discussed. Finally, two field tests are analyzed
using this technique, while an earlier effort to analyze the tests using a conventional method was not successful due to poor

In this paper, we investigate the stability and robust stability criteria for genetic regulatory networks with interval time-varying delays and Markovian jumping parameters. The genetic regulatory networks have a finite number of modes, which may jump from one mode to another according to the Markov process. By using Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities to achieve the global asymptotic stability in the mean square of the considered genetic regulatory networks. This paper is concerned with the global exponential synchronization problem of two identical nonlinear time-delay Lur’e systems via delayed impulsive control. Some novel impulsive synchronization criteria are obtained by introducing a discontinuous Lyapunov function and by using the Lyapunov–Razumikhin technique, which are expressed in forms of linear matrix inequalities. The derived criteria reveal the effects of impulsive input delays and impulsive intervals on the stability of synchronization error systems. Then, sufficient conditions on the existence of a delayed impulsive controller are derived by employing these newly-obtained synchronization criteria. Additionally, some synchronization criteria for two identical time-delay Lur’e systems with impulsive effects are presented by using delayed continuous feedback control. The synchronization criteria via delayed continuous feedback control can deal with the case when the impulsive control strategy fails to synchronize two identical impulsive time-delay Lur’e systems. Three numerical examples are provided to illustrate the efficiency of the obtained results. 相似文献

In this paper, an optimal control problem for parabolic variational inequalities with delays in the highest order spatial derivatives is investigated. The well-posedness of such kinds of variational inequalities is established.
