Solanopubamine (3β-amino-5α, 22αH, 25βH-solanidan-23β-ol), a steroidal alkaloid was isolated from the alkaloidal fraction of Solanum schimperianum in significant yield. Its structure was established by IR, positive ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR. The presence of -3β-NH2 and -23β-OH groups was achieved through methylation, acetylation or coupling with octadecanoic and undec-11-enoic acids to produce six derivatives (27). Their structures were confirmed by spectroscopic analyses. Solanopubamine and semi-synthetic analogs are investigated for their in vitro cytotoxicity against a panel of human cancer cell lines and anti-microbial activity. Solanopubamine showed good antifungal activity only against Candida albicans and C. tenuis with MIC of 12.5 μg/mL. Semi-synthesized compounds (27) have failed to show anti-tumor and anti-microbial activities.  相似文献

Lycium species growing in Turkey have not so far been studied sufficiently. For this reason, non-polar and polar extracts obtained from the fruits of Lycium barbarum L. and L. Ruthenicum Murray (Solanaceae) were assessed both in vitro for their potential as free radical scavenger crude extracts and their phenolic composition. Fruits of Lycium species were sequentially extracted with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, methanol, n-butanol, and water in a Soxhlet extractor. All the extracts were assessed for the scavenging of the nitrogen-centered free radical 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH.) by in vitro method. Furthermore, the composition of each extract was investigated both in terms of its Folin-Ciocalteau reactive components and its qualitative content. The phenolic compounds within the extracts were determined as benzoic acid and hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives, flavonoids, and anthocyanins according to their retention time and UV spectral data by HPLC-DAD system.  相似文献

Lipids from fruit pulp of the sweet red pepper (Capsicum annuum, Solanaceae) were characterized. The principal components of the lipids from pepper fruit pulp were neutral lipids with predominance of triacylglycerines (55.8%). The polar lipids contained sulfoquinovosyldiacylglycerines and phosphotidylglycerines. The fatty-acid compositions of the neutral lipids, glycolipids, and phospholipids were determined.  相似文献

采用高效液相色谱法对我国东北地区茄科植物废弃物马铃薯、茄子、番茄和辣椒的叶片中茄尼醇进行了定性和定量分析。结果表明:马铃薯和茄子的叶片中茄尼醇质量分数较高,分别可达到0.331%和0.207%;番茄和辣椒的叶片中茄尼醇的质量分数分别为0.092%和0.089%。方法的线性范围为0.61~6.10μg,回收率为99.5%~103.3%。  相似文献

Three new acyltyramines, N-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]hentriacontanamide (1), N-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]nonacosanamide (2) and N-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]heneicosanamide (3) have been isolated from n-hexane extract of leaves of Anisodus luridus (Solanaceae). Successive extraction of defatted leaves of A. luridus with methanol afforded a residue on removal of solvent under reduced pressure. Residue was partitioned by means of chloroform and n-butanol. Chromatographic resolution of n-BuOH extract afforded six known compounds, apigenin (4), luteolin (5), quercetin (6), quercetin 3-O-α-l-rhamnoside (7), kaempferol 3-O-α-rhamnoside (8) and quercetin 3-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-d-glucopyranoside (9). The structures of the isolated compounds were assigned with the help of spectroscopic techniques. This is the first report of isolation of these compounds from this plant.  相似文献

pH‐Zone‐refining centrifugal‐partition chromatography (CPC) was successfully applied in the separation of complex polar steroidal glycoalkaloids of close Rf values, directly from a crude extract of Solanum xanthocarpum. The experiment was performed with a two phase solvent system composed of ethyl acetate/butanol/water (1:4:5 by volume) where triethylamine (5 mM) was added to the upper organic mobile phase as an eluter and TFA (10 mM) to the aqueous stationary phase as a retainer. Separation of 1 g of crude extract over CPC resulted in two distinct pH‐zones. The fractions collected in pH‐zone i afforded 72 mg of solasonine while the fractions collected in pH‐zone ii were slightly impure, hence were purified over medium pressure LC, which afforded 30 mg of solasonine and further 15 mg of solamargine (SM). The steroidal glycoalkaloids, SM and solasonine were isolated in 93.3 and 91.6% purity, respectively. The isolated alkaloids were characterized on the basis of their 1H, 13C‐NMR, and ESI‐MS data.  相似文献

Water-distilled essential oils from the fruits of Lycium barbarum and L. ruthenicum were analyzed by GCMS. The main components in the oil of L. barbarum were found to be hexadecanoic acid (47.5%), linoleic acid (9.1%), β-elemene (5.4%), myristic acid (4.2%), and ethyl hexadecanoate (4.0%). The essential oil of L. ruthenicum has heptacosane (14.3%), ethyl linoleate (10.0%), hexacosane (7.0%), nonacosane (6.2%), and ethyl hexadecanoate (5.8%) as the main compounds. The genus Datura (Solanaceae) contains nine species of medicinal plants that have held both curative utility and cultural significance throughout history. This genus’ particular bioactivity results from the enormous diversity of alkaloids it contains, making it a valuable study organism for many disciplines. Although Datura contains mostly tropane alkaloids (such as hyoscyamine and scopolamine), indole, beta-carboline, and pyrrolidine alkaloids have also been identified. The tools available to explore specialized metabolism in plants have undergone remarkable advances over the past couple of decades and provide renewed opportunities for discoveries of new compounds and the genetic basis for their biosynthesis. This review provides a comprehensive overview of studies on the alkaloids of Datura that focuses on three questions: How do we find and identify alkaloids? Where do alkaloids come from? What factors affect their presence and abundance? We also address pitfalls and relevant questions applicable to natural products and metabolomics researchers. With both careful perspectives and new advances in instrumentation, the pace of alkaloid discovery—from not just Datura—has the potential to accelerate dramatically in the near future.  相似文献

Two new sesquiterpenoid derivatives, attributable to eudesmane-type (12, named septemlobin D and 11,12-O-isopropylidenesolajiangxin F), were isolated from the whole plant of Solanum septemlobum. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of integrated spectroscopic techniques, mainly HR-FAB-MS, 1D and 2D-NMR (1H–1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC and ROESY). In vitro, two sesquiterpenoid derivatives were found to show significant cytotoxicity against three cancer cell lines (P-388, HONE-1 and HT-29), and gave IC50 values in the range of 3.0–7.3 μM.  相似文献
