Charge ordering behavior is observed in the crystal prepared through the immersion of the Na0.41CoO2 crystal in distilled water. Discovery of the charge ordering in the crystal with Na content less than 0.5 indicates that the immersion in water brings about the reduction of the Na0.41CoO2. The formal valence of Co changes from +3.59 estimated from the Na content to +3.50, the same as that in Na0.5CoO2. The charge compensation is confirmed to arise from the intercalation of the oxonium ions as occurred in the superconducting sodium cobalt oxide bilayer-hydrate [K. Takada, et al. J. Mater. Chem. 14 (2004) 1448]. The charge ordering is the same as that observed in Na0.5CoO2. It suggests that the Co valence of +3.50 is necessary for the charge ordering.  相似文献

Composite structures consisting of (001)-oriented SrTiO3 (STO)/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 (LSMO) films of 30 nm thickness, grown on an (001) Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)TiO3– 28 mol.% PbTiO3 piezoelectric relaxor-ferroelectric single-crystalline wafer were investigated by means of Wide-Angle X-ray Diffraction (WAXRD) in situ under influence of a d.c. electric field with strength E up to ±18 kV/cm. The WAXRD measurements of the films and substrate reflection profiles resulted in a determination of the strain s in the films and the substrate separately. The strained state of the STO/LSMO films is effectively controlled by a huge converse piezoelectric effect of the PMN-PT substrate. The coefficients of coupling between electric-field-induced out-of-plane strain in the films and in the substrate for the composite system STO/LSMO/PMN-PT are obtained.  相似文献

Up to now a Ni2In structure is a final step in the structural sequence of ionic AX2 compounds under high pressure. Powder X-ray diffraction experiments on BaH2 were performed at room temperature and high pressures up to 69 GPa. Successive phase transformations were observed to occur in two stages. The first was from the cotunnite to the Ni2In structure at 2.5 GPa. The second transition commenced at pressures around 50 GPa and was completed at 65 GPa. At the transition the arrangement of a cation sublattice changes from an hcp to a simple hexagonal lattice. This is the first observation of the post Ni2In phase.  相似文献

The photodesorption and photodecomposition pathways of dimethylgold hexafluoroacetylacetonate, DMG (hfac), adsorbed on a cooled quartz substrate is reported for 222-nm KrCl excimer laser radiation. The time-of-flight (TOF) of neutral photoproducts, desorbed from the surface of the gold film formed during the experiment, were analyzed under collisionless conditions by a differentially-pumped mass spectrometer. Extensive dissociation of adsorbed DMG (hfac) into DMG and the hfac ligand was observed. The ligand was found to recombine with a CH3 radical on the surface. Translational energy distributions for the detected species were obtained by deconvoluting the TOF curves into a self-consistent set of Maxwell-Boltzmann distributions for the desorbed parent molecule, laser-induced decomposition products, and surface recombination reaction products.
