The first example of the C-3 alkylation of indoles with cyclopropyl ketones promoted by CeCl3·7H2O/LiI

Indoles undergo smooth alkylation with cyclopropyl ketones in the presence of the CeCl₃·7H₂O/LiI reagent system in refluxing acetonitrile under neutral conditions to produce the corresponding C-3 substituted indole derivatives in good to high yields and with high selectivity. The use of CeCl₃·7H₂O/LiI makes this method simple, convenient, and cost-effective.

自从Kratschmer和Huffman发表了较为简便的制备和分离碳-60,碳-70的方法以来,对于球壳烯类,特别是碳-60的表征和物化性质已进行了较为翔实的研究。关于球壳烯类的化学修饰,尽管起步较晚,对其兴趣也日益高涨。本文综述了球壳烯类的化学修饰,特别在球壳烯外壳的化学反应方面。     

Hydroxylation of a vitamin D A-ring fragment

Summary When the benzoate of (S)-(Z)-2-(5-(tert-butyldimethylsiloxy)-2-methylencyclohexyliden)-ethanol (5) is treated with 2.5 equivalents of Hg(OOCCF₃)₂ in dryTHF, a smooth and selective allylic hydroxylation occurs. The C-1 functionalized vitamin D A-ring synthon6 is isolated in 65 to 70% yield in a single step.

Zusammenfassung Umsetzung des Benzoats von (S)-(Z)-2-(5-(tert-Butyldimethylsiloxy)-2-methylencyclohexyliden)-ethanol (5) mit 2.5 Äquivalenten Hg(OOCCF₃)₂ in trockenemTHF führt zu einer selektiven allylischen Hydroxylierung. Damit ist das an C-1 funktionalisierte Vitamin D A-Ring-Fragment6 in einem einzigen Schritt in einer Ausbeute von 65 bis 70% zugänglich.

     

碳碳相关谱测定泽泻萜醇F的结构

从泽泻中分离出新化合物泽泻萜醇F，采用二维核磁共振碳相关技术研究了该化合物的骨架结构。结合碳碳相关谱及远程碳氢相关谱等其它二维核磁共振技术，分析了该化合物的常规氢谱和碳谱，并准确归属了质子和碳核的化学位移。     

Kinetic study of ion exchange reaction between lysozyme and carboxymethyl Sephadex C-25

The ion-exchange reaction of lysozyme with carboxymethyl Sephadex C-25 was followed by conductivity change as a function of time just after the rapid mixing of the protein solution with the Sephadex suspension. A single relaxation process was observed; the conductivity increased exponentially with time in the 100 s scale. In this process, protons were released from the Sephadex C-25 in the same time scale. The relaxation process slowed down with an increase in the lysozyme concentration, but it quickened upon the addition of HCl. On the other hand, the potential on the Sephadex C-25 surface changed from a negative value to a positive one with an increase in the amount of lysozyme adsorbed on the surface. On the basis of these data, the relaxation process was attributed to the ion-exchange reaction of lysozyme with several protons of carboxymethyl groups of the Sephadex.

The C2π and the X2σ States of BaF

An extensive calculation was carried out using the precisely measured value of the Q-band heads and the following molecular constants for the C²π¹ ₂ and the X²σ states, which are responsible for the Green Band System of BaF, were determined.     

Facile Synthesis of Novel Pentofuranose Analogs of Phospha Sugar Derivatives

Novel pentofuranose analogs of phospha sugar derivatives were synthesized starting from 1-phenyl-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 1 ). First, the allylic oxidation of 1-phenyl-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 1 ) with CrO 3 in Ac 2 O-AcOH or 3-hydroxy-1-phenyl-2-phospholene ( 2 ) with MnO 2 afforded 1-phenyl-4-oxo-2-phospholene 1-oxide ( 3 ). The C-5 alkylation of 3 in the presence of NaH by using benzyl bromide or methyl iodide as electrophiles afforded the target title compounds.     

Ugi three-component coupling reaction for the synthesis of 2-(6-oxo-11-phenyl-7,8-dihydrobenzo[b]pyrrolo[1,2-d][1,4]diazocin-5(6H)-yl)-2-phenylacetamide derivatives

A three-component, four center Ugi reaction of 3-(1-(2-aminophenyl)-5-phenyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)propanoic acid with aromatic aldehyde and t-butyl isocyanide has been achieved to produce a novel class of N-tert-butyl-2-(6-oxo-11-phenyl-7,8-dihydrobenzo[b]pyrrolo[1,2-d][1,4]diazacine-5(6H)-yl)-2-phenylacetamides in moderate to good yields.
