The paper is concerned with the study of plasticity models described by differential equations with stop and play operators. We suggest sufficient conditions for the global stability of a unique periodic solution for the scalar models and for the vector models with biaxial inputs of a particular form, namely the sum of a uniaxial function and a constant term. For another class of simple biaxial inputs, we present an example of the existence of unstable periodic solutions. The paper was written during the research stay of D. Rachinskii at the Technical University Munich supported by the research fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. This paper mainly concerns defect operators and defect functions of Hardy submodules, Bergman submodules over the unit ball, and Hardy submodules over the polydisk. The defect operator (function) carries key information about operator theory (function theory) and structure of analytic submodules. The problem when a submodule has finite defect is attacked for both Hardy submodules and Bergman submodules. Our interest will be in submodules generated by polynomials. The reason for choosing such submodules is to understand the interaction of operator theory, function theory and algebraic geometry.  相似文献

In this paper we relate the operators in the operator representations of a generalized Nevanlinna function N(z) and of the function −N(z)−1 under the assumption that z=∞ is the only (generalized) pole of nonpositive type. The results are applied to the Q-function for S and H and the Q-function for S and H, where H is a self-adjoint operator in a Pontryagin space with a cyclic element w, H is the self-adjoint relation obtained from H and w via a rank one perturbation at infinite coupling, and S is the symmetric operator given by S=HH.  相似文献

We study von Karman evolution equations with non-linear dissipation and with partially clamped and partially free boundary conditions. Two distinctive mechanisms of dissipation are considered: (i) internal dissipation generated by non-linear operator, and (ii) boundary dissipation generated by shear forces friction acting on a free part of the boundary. The main emphasis is given to the effects of boundary dissipation. Under suitable hypotheses we prove existence of a compact global attractor and finiteness of its fractal dimension. We also show that any solution is stabilized to an equilibrium and estimate the rate of the convergence which, in turn, depends on the behaviour at the origin of the functions describing the dissipation.  相似文献

For any finite dimensional control system with arbitrary cost, Pontryagin's Maximum Principle (PMP) [N. Bensalem, Localisation des courbes anormales et problème d'accessibilité sur un groupe de Lie hilbertien nilpotent de degré 2, Thèse de doctorat, Université de Savoie, 1998. [6]] gives necessary conditions for optimality of trajectories. In the infinite dimensional case, it is well known that these conditions are no more true in general. The purpose of this paper is to establish an “approached” version of PMP for infinite dimensional bilinear systems, with fixed final time and without constraints on the final state. Moreover, if the set of control is contained in a closed bounded convex subset with operators defining its dynamics are compact, or if it is contained in a finite dimensional space, we get an “exact” version of PMP. We also give two applications of these results. The first one deals with sub-Riemannian geometry on nilpotent Hilbertian Lie groups for which we can define a sub-Riemannian distance. The second one deals with heat equation for which we analyse the necessary conditions to give the optimal controls.  相似文献

We generalize several results on bounded analytic interpolation of Fitzgerald and Horn, which work by majorization by positive definite kernels, to the cases of several complex variables and operator-valued interpolation.
