On the stability of tangent bundle on double coverings

Let Y be a smooth projective surface defined over an algebraically closed field k with char k≠2, and let π : X →Y be a double covering branched along a smooth divisor. We show that y_X is stable with respect to π~*H if the tangent bundle y_Y is semi-stable with respect to some ample line bundle H on Y.     

Categorical Abstract Algebraic Logic: Structurality,protoalgebraicity, and correspondence

The notion of an ? ‐matrix as a model of a given π ‐institution ? is introduced. The main difference from the approach followed so far in Categorical Abstract Algebraic Logic (CAAL) and the one adopted here is that an ? ‐matrix is considered modulo the entire class of morphisms from the underlying N ‐algebraic system of ? into its own underlying algebraic system, rather than modulo a single fixed (N,N ′)‐logical morphism. The motivation for introducing ? ‐matrices comes from a desire to formulate a correspondence property for N ‐protoalgebraic π ‐institutions closer in spirit to the one for sentential logics than that considered in CAAL before. As a result, in the previously established hierarchy of syntactically protoalgebraic π ‐institutions, i. e., those with an implication system, and of protoalgebraic π ‐institutions, i. e., those with a monotone Leibniz operator, the present paper interjects the class of those π ‐institutions with the correspondence property, as applied to ? ‐matrices. Moreover, this work on ? ‐matrices enables us to prove many results pertaining to the local deduction‐detachment theorems, paralleling classical results in Abstract Algebraic Logic formulated, first, by Czelakowski and Blok and Pigozzi. The E-theoretic descent functor for groupoids

The paper establishes, for a wide class of locally compact groupoids Γ, the E-theoretic descent functor at the C^∗-algebra level, in a way parallel to that established for locally compact groups by Guentner, Higson and Trout. Section 2 shows that Γ-actions on a C₀(X)-algebra B, where X is the unit space of Γ, can be usefully formulated in terms of an action on the associated bundle B^?. Section 3 shows that the functor B→C^∗(Γ,B) is continuous and exact, and uses the disintegration theory of J. Renault. Section 4 establishes the existence of the descent functor under a very mild condition on Γ, the main technical difficulty involved being that of finding a Γ-algebra that plays the role of Cbcont(T,B) in the group case.

范畴中态射集的加权减序

利用态射的加权广义逆,引进并讨论态射集中的加权减序和加权星序.给出了态射集中的加权减序的一些刻画和性质以及加权减序和加权星序之间的关系.加权减序和加权星序都是态射集中的新的偏序.所得结果均可应用于矩阵理论中.

Harmonic polynomial morphisms between Euclidean spaces

A Nonexistence Theorem of Proper Harmonic Morphisms Between Hyperbolic Spaces

We provide a nonexistence theorem of harmonic morphisms between hyperbolic spaces which are proper and C ²-smooth to the boundary.     

On Polynomial Representations of Lie Algebras

We study polynomial representations of finite dimensional (R or C) Lie algebras. As a total classification, we show that there are altogether three types of such nontrivial representations and give their subtle structures.
