Let Z denote a Hermite process of order q1 and self-similarity parameter H(12,1). This process is H-self-similar, has stationary increments and exhibits long-range dependence. When q=1, it corresponds to the fractional Brownian motion, whereas it is not Gaussian as soon as q?2. In this paper, we deal with a Vasicek-type model driven by Z, of the form dXt=a(b?Xt)dt+dZt. Here, a>0 and bR are considered as unknown drift parameters. We provide estimators for a and b based on continuous-time observations. For all possible values of H and q, we prove strong consistency and we analyze the asymptotic fluctuations.  相似文献

We introduce a high resolution fifth-order semi-discrete Hermite central-upwind scheme for multidimensional Hamilton–Jacobi equations. The numerical fluxes of the scheme are constructed by Hermite polynomials which can be obtained by using the short-time assignment of the first derivatives. The extensions of the proposed semi-discrete Hermite central-upwind scheme to multidimensional cases are straightforward. The accuracy, efficiency and stability properties of our schemes are finally demonstrated via a variety of numerical examples.  相似文献

Selberg-type integrals that can be turned into constant term identities for Laurent polynomials arise naturally in conjunction with random matrix models in statistical mechanics. Built on a recent idea of Karasev and Petrov we develop a general interpolation based method that is powerful enough to establish many such identities in a simple manner. The main consequence is the proof of a conjecture of Forrester related to the Calogero–Sutherland model. In fact we prove a more general theorem, which includes Aomoto's constant term identity at the same time. We also demonstrate the relevance of the method in additive combinatorics.  相似文献

The mixed moments for the Askey–Wilson polynomials are found using a bootstrapping method and connection coefficients. A similar bootstrapping idea on generating functions gives a new Askey–Wilson generating function. Modified generating functions of orthogonal polynomials are shown to generate polynomials satisfying recurrences of known degree greater than three. An important special case of this hierarchy is a polynomial which satisfies a four term recurrence, and its combinatorics is studied.  相似文献

We establish various properties for the zero sets of three families of bivariate Hermite polynomials. Special emphasis is given to those bivariate orthogonal polynomials introduced by Hermite by means of a Rodrigues type formula related to a general positive definite quadratic form. For this family we prove that the zero set of the polynomial of total degree n+mn+m consists of exactly n+mn+m disjoint branches and possesses n+mn+m asymptotes. A natural extension of the notion of interlacing is introduced and it is proved that the zero sets of the family under discussion obey this property. The results show that the properties of the zero sets, considered as affine algebraic curves in R2R2, are completely different for the three families analyzed.  相似文献

利用模态综合法分析车辆与桥梁之间的相互作用时,合理地构造桥梁的插值振型函数可以大幅提高计算精度.其中,分段三次Hermite插值函数和三次样条插值函数较为常用.为研究二者的异同,以简支梁桥为例分别采用这两种插值函数构造结构梁单元模型的一维插值振型函数和板单元模型的二维插值振型函数.基于以上两类插值振型函数,分析单自由度簧上质量匀速过桥时,桥梁的跨中位移、跨中梁底正应力和轮-桥接触力时程响应.结果表明:无论是一维问题还是二维问题,由三次样条插值法构造的插值振型函数与结构的实际振型较为吻合,计算结果具有较高的收敛性和精度.而要达到相同的精度,分段三次Hermite插值法则须加密单元网格,但其误差仅存在于独立网格内,不会累积放大.  相似文献

We prove a generalization of the Kibble–Slepian formula (for Hermite polynomials) and its unitary analogue involving the 2D Hermite polynomials recently proved in [16]. We derive integral representations for the 2D Hermite polynomials which are of independent interest. Several new generating functions for 2D q-Hermite polynomials will also be given.  相似文献
