四气门发动机可变涡流稀薄燃烧特性研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
本文研究了可变涡流对四气门发动机稀薄燃烧特性的影响情况。在稀薄燃烧情况下,发动机负荷大小对CO和HC排放的影响不大,对NOx排放的影响主要表现在对13~17空燃比范围内NOx排放的影响,负荷越大,NOx排放越大;对空燃比小于13或大于17以后的NOx排放影响较小。阀片位置对发动机排放特性的影响较小,对发动机的燃油经济性存在一定影响,这是因为不同阀片位置的进气涡流比不同所致,同时也表明较强的涡流运动对燃油经济性更有利。涡流运动在不同转速条件下对发动机燃油经济性的影响情况不同,它更有利于改善低速条件下的燃油经济性。  相似文献

秦皇岛热电厂2#锅炉燃烧不稳定、燃烧效率低等问题主要是由于燃烧器的一次风管道结构不合理造成的。本文采用多功能旋流燃烧器的设计思想对旋流燃烧器进行了技术改造和工业性试验研究。结果表明,改造后的旋流燃烧器其着火点提前,并且仅改造6只主力燃烧器就可以使锅炉在50%负荷时达到不投油而稳定燃烧,排烟温度、飞灰含碳量和NOx排放量明显下降。  相似文献

应用边界层积分法,研究锥形喷嘴入口区域中湍动涡流的发展.球面坐标系中的控制方程,通过边界层的假定得到简化,并对边界层进行了积分.应用4阶Adams预测校正法求解该微分方程组.入口区域的切向和轴向速度,分别应用自由涡流和均匀速度分布来表示.由于缺乏收缩喷嘴中涡流的实验数据,需要用数值模拟对该发展模式进行逆向验证.数值模拟的结果证明,该解析模型在预测边界层参数中的能力,例如边界层的生长、剪切率和边界层厚度,以及不同锥度角时的涡流强度衰减率等.为所提出的方法引进一个简明而有效的程序,用以研究几何形状收缩设备内的边界层参数.  相似文献

Huge amounts of produced water are generated in offshore oil production. The Compact Flotation Unit (CFU) is an excellent pretreatment technology of produced water with high separation efficiency, low residence, and small split ratio. The Computational Fluid Dynamics-population balance model (CFD-PBM) method is used in the present work to study the oil–water separation characteristics in the self-developed Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology Compact Flotation Unit (BIPTCFU) at both micro-scale and macro-scale, which would help us gain more insights into the mechanism and the influence of flow field on the oil–water separation process such as the oil droplets’ diameter distribution and separation efficiency. The effects of the inlet diameter, the height of the preliminary separation zone, and the width of the annular space on the oil–water separation characteristics of CFU were discussed systematically. It is illustrated that the appropriate increase of inlet velocity, decrease of annular gap width, and increase of the height in the preliminary separation zone can effectively promote the collision and coalescence process of oil droplets. However, the overlarge height of the preliminary separation zone and the too narrow width of the annular space will both have a significant negative effect on the migration and separation of oil and water and lead to the decrease of separation efficiency.  相似文献

Swirling combustion is widely applied in various applications such as gas turbines, utility boilersor waste incinerators. This article contributes to the ongoing research by providing experimentaldata that are gathered in the mixing zone of a lifted swirling premixed natural gas flame. Theobjective of this paper is fivefold: (1) to introduce the lifted swirling flame featuring lowNO x emissions (2) to provide experimental data such as major species distributions, temperature and streamlines of the flow pattern, (3) to report on velocity bias in probability density function (PDF) distributions and to present PDF sequences of velocities in medium scale swirling flows, (4) to make an assessment on the local small-scale turbulence that is present in the swirling mixinglayer and (5) to provide new experimental data for model verification and development.The PDFs are corrected in order to compensate for the velocity bias phenomenon, which is typicalfor randomly sampled LDA data. Sequences of axial PDF data are presented and measurement locationsof interest are selected to look at the PDF characteristics of the internal and externalrecirculation zones, the mixing layer and the onset of the reacting flow into detail. The mixinglayer PDFs covered a wide velocity range and revealed bimodality; even the concept ofmulti-modality is suggested and explored. Analysis showed that a sum of two Gaussian distributionscan accurately envelop the experimental PDFs. The reason for this broadband turbulence behavior isto be found in combination of precessing and flapping motion of the flow structures, and also incombustion generated instabilities of the lifted flame. As a result, the flame brush is wide (largescale motion) and the mixing (small-scale turbulence) flattens any high temperatures in thecombustion process.The multi-scale turbulence concept is subsequently used to make anassessment of the local turbulence characteristics in the mixing layer.The idea is that the PDFs capture both contributions of the flow-inherent fine grain turbulence (u l ) which is superposed on slowlarge scale fluctuating structures. It is this u l that will be of interest in continued research on the classification of the lifted flame into acombustion regime diagram (e.g. Borghi diagram). Finally, the bimodalitycharacter in reacting flows and the prediction of large-scale structuresmay be a challenge for LES researchers.  相似文献

We investigate the confinement properties of bounded, nonnegative, compactly supported vortices of axisymmetric incompressible Euler flows without swirl. We show that along one direction of the symmetry axis, its support can grow no faster than O[(t log t)1/2]. The rate at which it approaches the symmetry axis is also estimated. Together with the result of Maffei–Marchioro on the radial growth rate of the support, it is contained in a slowly expanding tubular region. Correlation of swirl number for a radial-type swirl generator   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
An experimental investigation was undertaken to derive a new correlation for the swirl number of a radial-type swirl generator under various Reynolds numbers and various vane angle conditions. A radial-type swirl generator with 16 rotary guide vanes was used to generate an annular swirling jet flow. The Reynolds numbers ranged from 60 to 6000, and the vane angles from 0° to 56°. Quantitative measurements for the velocities were made by using an optical method of laser-Doppler anemometry (LDA). Three-component velocity profiles of axial, radial, and azimuthal components at the swirling jet exit were measured for various flow conditions. A flow visualization method using smoke-wire and still photography was also applied to observe the flow patterns of the recirculation region behind the circular bluff body. Under low Reynolds number conditions, the swirl strength was found to be strongly dependent on the Reynolds number as well as on the guide vane angle. Based on the experimental results, a modified swirl number S is derived to characterize the swirling flow, which is useful for the design of a swirl generator.  相似文献

This study reports on experimental investigations on isothermal and reacting swirled non-premixed flows under varying pressure conditions. In this configuration, a central high speed fuel jet was surrounded by a heated swirling air flow. For the reacting case natural gas served as fuel whereas for isothermal conditions fuel was replaced by a mixture of helium and air to achieve Reynolds-similarity. The optically accessible combustor allowed for application of laser diagnostics. Here we report on Laser Doppler Anemometry and planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) experiments used to characterize the flow field and visualize selected scalars, respectively. Acetone served as a fluorescence marker for mixture fraction investigations. The hydroxyl radical was used to provide general features of the reaction zone such as flame shape and mean stabilization. To expose the influence of pressure on the flame structure three different operating points were investigated varying the combustor pressure between 2 and 6 bar while the inflow bulk velocities remained the same. Striking features of the present configuration are a detached flame, multiple recirculation zones, and complex coherent flow structures.  相似文献

Turbulence data for swirling flows along the annulus formed between two co-axial tubes are presented. The swirl was generated by a set of inlet guide vanes which produced, after settling and removal of wall boundary layers, a nominally free vortex flow over the complete entry plane of the test section. The work complements that described in Part 1 of the paper which considered the behaviour of time mean values under the same entry conditions1. A hot wire anemometer was used to detect turbulence quantities and techniques have been developed for the measurement of these using the minimum number of simple probe geometries. The theory leading to the derivation of the separate turbulence parameters from hot wire measurements is described. A series of radial profiles are given as representative examples of the extensive data collected in addition to longitudinal variations of friction factor and shear stress. A brief discussion is given on the determination of eddy diffusivity as a function of radial and axial location.  相似文献

The conservation laws for laminar axisymmetric jet flows with weak swirl are studied here. The multiplier approach is used to derive the conservation laws for the system of three boundary layer equations for the velocity components governing flow in laminar axisymmetric jet flows with weak swirl.
