Scour monitoring is an important concern for subsea pipeline systems. The active-thermometry-based scour monitoring is based on the difference of heat transfer properties between sediment and sand, recognizes the surrounding media though temperature changing patterns during heating and cooling processes, and hence detects the free spans. Based on the scour monitoring system, a two-layer BP neural network was employed to process the monitoring data and achieved media recognition. The network's inputs were normalized temperature time histories. The network's outputs denoted different media: sediment and water. To validate the method, three experiments were conducted; one was used for training the network and the other two for testing. Also, the effect of noise on the network's performance was studied through simulation. The results demonstrated the feasibility and robustness of the neural network.  相似文献

In this work, a corrosion prediction mathematical model for risk assessment in oil and gas production and transportation facilities has been created. This work focuses on partial pressure of carbon (iv) oxide, CO2 and the operating temperature in process equipment and transportation facility pipes as a function of corrosion rate. The model equation formulated was based on the principle of multiple linear regressions of data. The final model representing the corrosion rate of crude oil equipment was obtained CR = b o + b 1 T + b 2 P (CO 2). The model was simulated using polymath software. The correlation between the experimental and simulated resulted obtained using root mean square deviation (coefficient of determination) was 99.74% which is high, suggesting that the relationship between the predictor and response variables is linear. The variation in the model equation is 0.0066374. This low value of the variance shows that the model is accurate.  相似文献

空间天气影响下的钢制油气管道会产生地磁感应电流,地磁感应电流能够加速管道腐蚀,干扰管道监测装置,危及人身安全.为了研究管道地磁感应电流的非线性动力学特性,首先基于线传输理论,建立了管道地磁感应电流模型,并应用Melnikov方法对模型进行分析,揭示了地磁场与管道系统相互作用而产生混沌的机理,指出管道地磁感应电流具有出现混沌的可能性.其次,以中国西气东输一线管道中卫处6次磁暴事件数据为例,依据功率谱分析法、主分量法、关联维数法、Lyapunov指数法等多种混沌判别方法,对计算得到的地磁感应电流时间序列作了定量和定性的分析,进一步验证理论分析的结果.数学模型和实际数据两方面都表明:在空间天气影响下,埋地钢制管道系统内的地磁感应电流具有混沌特性,为空间天气影响下的钢制油气管道保护提供了理论依据.  相似文献

利用水下地震-波流联合模拟实验系统研究了海底管线在波浪、水流和地震作用下的动态响应特征。实验中考虑了有无地震作用、悬跨长度、波浪高度、水深、水流速度以及是否满管状态等因素。通过DDP动态数据后处理软件对实验结果进行处理分析,得到海底悬跨管道的动态响应特性。实验结果表明:在浅海海域,悬跨管线的动态反应受波浪及水深变化的影响不明显,悬跨长度是影响管道动态响应的主要影响因素;悬跨管线在地震与波流共同作用下的反应与仅地震作用下的应变存在差别;在波浪力作用下,空管时管线的应变要小于满管时的情况。  相似文献

通过实例分析了动态断裂过程所固有的典型动态作用,基于断裂孵化时间理论的时空结构方法提出了固体材料断裂的统一解释.此外,还提出了计及尺度效应的广义断裂模型,该模型可以用于预测准脆性非均质材料的多尺度断裂,并证明此模型基于实验室尺度的实验数据可以预测更高尺度(真实尺度)的宏观断裂.  相似文献

本文运用ABAQUS有限元软件模拟深海输油管道的后屈曲及屈曲传播现象.将深海输油管道视为内、外层为合金钢材,夹心为聚氨酯泡沫的输油管道.采用线弹性-线性硬化的本构关系,运用Riks分析法获得后屈曲平衡路径,以此模拟管道中的屈曲传播过程,并获得屈曲传播压力.通过数值算例,综合讨论了不同初始缺陷、不同径厚比、不同夹层与夹心厚度比对、不同的材料弹性模量对屈曲传播过程和压力的影响.最后将输油管退化为单层管,将传播压力的有限元结果与实验结果、 Palmer理论解比较.结果表明有限元值、实验结果、理论值三者比较吻合.验证了有限元分析的正确性.  相似文献

Computer models can provide the basis for real‐time monitoring and control of fluid flow in pipelines. Problems of fluid flow in pipelines are mathematically represented by a non‐linear system of coupled partial differential equations. In this paper, several numerical techniques are evaluated with respect to their suitability for the purpose of real‐time monitoring of fluid flow in pipelines. The proposed techniques are evaluated in terms of the L1, the L2, and the L error norms. Moreover, the developed simulators will be compared in terms of their speed of response and settling time which are essential factors for an effective real‐time monitoring scheme. Jet mixers are frequently used in crude oil pipelines to remix uniformly and settled water prior to the sampling point in order to determine the water content when buying and selling crude oil cargoes. Existing jet mixers vary from a single-jet nozzle (e.g. at the bottom of a horizontal pipe) to a complex pattern of nozzles. As the multi-nozzle designs are continuously changing and owing to the complexity of the problem, crude design calculations are usually in error. A laser Doppler anemometry (LDA) experimental study (single phase) was conducted in order to understand and compare the flow fields produced by single- and multi-nozzle mixers.  相似文献

Extended partial blockages are common in pressurized water pipelines and can result in the wastage of energy, the reduction in system carrying capacity and the increased potential for contamination. This paper investigates the transient wave-blockage interaction and its application to extended blockage detection in pipelines, where blockage-induced changes to the system resonant frequencies are observed. The frequency shifting is first inspected and explained in this study through wave perturbation analysis, providing a theoretical confirmation for the result that unlike discrete blockages, extended blockages cause resonant frequency shifts in the system. Furthermore, an analytical expression is derived for the relationship between the blockage properties and the resonant frequency shifts and is used to detect the blockages in this study. The obtained results are validated through both numerical applications and laboratory experiments, where the accuracy and efficiency of the developed method for extended blockage detection are tested.  相似文献
