This research extends previous work with dynamic models to manage groundwater quality by using the consumptive nitrate use rate instead of the nitrate application rate. The analysis indicates that misspecification results in overestimation of economic benefits, and supra-optimum nitrogen fertilizer application rates and groundwater nitrate stocks at a steady state.  相似文献

Soil radon has been monitored at two fixed stations in the northern flank of Popocatepetl Volcano, a high risk volcano located 60 km SE from Mexico City. Water samples from three springs were also studied for radon as well as major and trace elements. Radon in the soil was recorded using track detectors. Radon in the water samples was evaluated using the liquid scintillation method and an Alphaguard. The major elements were determined through conventional chemical methods and trace elements using an ICP-MS equipment. Soil radon levels were low, indicating a moderate diffuse degassing through the flanks of the volcano. Groundwater radon had almost no relation with the eruptive stages. Water chemistry was stable in the reported time (2000–2002).  相似文献

采用气相分子吸收光谱法测定地下水中的亚硝酸盐氮(NO2^-)、氨氮(NH4^+)、硝酸盐氮(NO3^-)。考察NO2^-,NH4^+和NO3^-测定时的相互干扰,并给出了相应的消除方法。研究结果表明,测定NO2^-时,NH4^+和NO3^-无干扰;NO2^-对测定NH4^+和NO3^-产生干扰,可分别采用分段法和加入2滴10%氨基磺酸溶液的方法消除干扰;对于不含NO2^-或NO2-含量不高的地下水样品,可简化操作步骤直接测定NO3^-。该方法测定结果的相对标准偏差为0.73%~2.74%(n=12),样品加标回收率为97.67%~100.28%。所用检测仪器具有流动注射、自动进样及在线绘制标准曲线的功能,简化了标准方法中的样品前处理过程,减少了样品的损失,实现了自动化分析,大幅提高了检测结果的准确度和工作效率。  相似文献

在对四川省红层丘陵区浅层地下水水质评价的基础上,应用SPSS和Excel以及Surfer 3种方法分析了样品中的元素含量和进行了相关性分析。结果表明,SPSS和Surfer 8.0联用,能较好地阐明污染物的相关性和元素分布的特征,更直观地作出宜宾市屏山县浅层地下水水质现状评价。  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the development of efficient iterative methods for solving the linear system of equations arising from stochastic FEMs for single‐phase fluid flow in porous media. It is assumed that the conductivity coefficient varies randomly in space according to some given correlation function and is approximated using a truncated Karhunen–Loève expansion. Distinct discretizations of the deterministic and stochastic spaces are required for implementations of the stochastic FEM. In this paper, the deterministic space is discretized using classical finite elements and the stochastic space using a polynomial chaos expansion. The highly structured linear systems which result from this discretization mean that Krylov subspace iterative solvers are extremely effective. The performance of a range of preconditioned iterative methods is investigated and evaluated in terms of robustness with respect to mesh size and variability of the conductivity coefficient. An efficient symmetric block Gauss–Seidel preconditioner is proposed for problems in which the conductivity coefficient has a large standard deviation.The companion paper, herein, referred to as Part 2, considers the situation in which Gaussian random fields are transformed into lognormal ones by projecting the truncated Karhunen–Loève expansion onto a polynomial chaos basis. This results in a stochastic nonlinear problem because the random fields are represented using polynomial chaos containing terms that are generally nonlinear in the random variables. Abstract

A comparative review of pesticide survey endosing 16 waterworks in the FRG tries to increase the understanding about interferences of pesticide utilization and pesticide occurrence in ground- and drinkingwater, which includes characterization of sampling points, subsurface situation, land use and pesticide application. Between 1986 and 1991, 5772 samples were measured and led to 219094 data about the occurrence of various pesticides. 5% of these analyses showed pesticide or metabolite concentrations above the particular detection limits. This result does not vary in large extent considering groups of different characterized sampling points like groundwater dominated or surface water sampling points. As the herbicide atrazine and its metabolite desethylatrazine as well as the herbicide simazine were detected most often in all samples independent whether considering groundwater und surface water samples, this fact confirms the FRG-application ban for atrazine as well as the application restriction for simazine.  相似文献

The migration of radionuclides and other tracers in porous layers is determined by substance transport. The physical and hydraulic basis of retardation is investigated. A definition of a factor of retardation is given, describing the ratio between the pore velocity of the water and the velocity of tracer migration. Al2O3/chitosan-multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were created to increase the exchange capacity of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) ion-exchange membranes. The composite membranes were made by mixing Al2O3 nanoparticles into the PVDF cast solution, then applying a thin coating of chitosan functionalized carbon nano tubes (Cs-MWCNTs) to the PVDF membrane surface. The structure and characteristics of the hybrid membranes were described using XRD, SEM, IR, and TG-DTA. The Al2O3-PVDF/Cs-MWCNTs membrane beat the other Al2O3-PVDF/Cs, Al2O3-PVDF, and PVDF membranes in terms of molybdate, phosphate, and nitrate adsorption. The removal efficiency, pH solution, adsorption capacity, and desorption process of molybdate, phosphate, and nitrate anions by Al2O3-PVDF and PVDF membranes were investigated. The removal effectiveness of molybdate, phosphate, and nitrate, according to the testing findings, was 94.3, 65.6, and 85.78 %, respectively. The adsorption of MoO42?, PO43?, and NO3? increased as the pH increased initially until the best adsorption was achieved, and then decreased significantly as the pH increased further. The total adsorption capabilities of MoO42?, PO43?, and NO3?for the Al2O3-PVDF/Cs-MWCNTs membrane were 65.50, 61.22, and 59.77 mg/g, respectively. Using regeneration and reuse experiments for the simultaneous adsorption of molybdate, phosphate, and nitrate during three consecutive cycles, the adsorption/desorption of Al2O3-PVDF/Cs-MWCNTs was assessed. Al2O3-PVDF/Cs-MWCNTs offer a lot of promise when it comes to eliminating MoO42?, PO43?, and NO3?from actual wastewater samples.  相似文献

建立了同时测定地下水中多环芳烃(PAHs)、多氯联苯(PCBs)、有机氯农药(OCPs)和有机磷农药(OPPs)等42种半挥发性有机污染物的分析方法,对固相萃取、液-液萃取、萃取溶剂和色谱柱等分析条件进行优化。最终采用乙酸乙酯-正己烷(1∶4)液液萃取,DB-5MS色谱柱分离,GC-MS/SIM测定,内标法定量。结果表明,42种目标物在0.5~1 000μg/L范围内线性关系良好(r20.995);方法检出限为0.05~3.08 ng/L。在10、40、400 ng/L加标水平下,42种目标物的基体加标平均回收率为73.0%~107%,相对标准偏差(RSD,n=5)为1.4%~11.3%。将方法应用于石家庄周边地区水样检测,结果可靠。该方法灵敏、准确、简单易行,可显著提高地下水中主要有机污染物的分析效率。  相似文献
