Homogeneous cordierite has been synthesized at low cost by talc-magnesite and coal gangue as the main raw materials. The mechanism of synthesizing cordierite under such a com- posing system of raw materials, and the effect of temperature on the crystal cell parameters and microstructure and thermal expansion coefficient of cordierite crystal have been studied via testing methods of XRD, SEM, etc. The result shows that the homogeneous cordierite can be synthesized by the systematic composing materials of “talc-magnesite—coal gangue—talc” with heat pre- servation at 1350 ℃ for 1 h; as the keeping time is prolonged, Al3+ and Mg2+ in cordierite crystal are replaced by a few impurity ions such as Fe3+, Fe2+, etc., and the crystal cell parameters of cordierite present an increase trend; as the high-temperature heat preservation is prolonged, the content of glassy phase in the sample is increased, its density is improved, and its thermal expansion coeffi- cient presents an increase trend. 相似文献

Y2O3涂层负载Pd整体式催化剂的制备和催化性能 总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
以Y(NO3)3为前驱体制备了Y2O3涂层的堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体.扫描电子显微镜、X射线能谱和超声波振荡等表征结果表明,Y2O3涂层不但具有良好的抗振荡性和粘结强度,而且具有很强的吸附催化剂活性组分(H2PdCl4)的能力,适合制备负载型Pd催化剂.以甲苯和乙酸乙酯完全燃烧为模型反应考察了催化剂的活性,发现以Y2O3涂层堇青石蜂窝陶瓷为载体的整体式Pd/Y2O3催化剂具有良好的催化活性和热稳定性,甲苯和乙酸乙酯催化燃烧的T99分别为210和300℃;催化剂经900℃焙烧4 h后,T99仅提高20℃,表明催化剂具有很高的热稳定性.催化剂的X射线衍射、拉曼光谱和程序升温还原结果表明,Pd/Y2O3催化剂经低温焙烧时,Y2O3和PdO均高度分散在堇青石蜂窝陶瓷的表面,而高温焙烧使催化剂活性组分PdO晶粒增大,从而导致催化剂活性下降. 相似文献

A two-step sintering method was used to prepare Al8.31Si1.91Mg3.78O20 (corundum solid solution)/Al4.8Si1.2O9.6 (mullite solid solution)/Mg2.0Al4.02Si4.98O18 (cordierite solid solution) multiphase material, for the purposes of making these three crystal structures have point defects which could help the particles diffuse and transfer at high temperature, accelerate the sintering efficiently and enhance the material strength as well as the bulk density. The impacts of different formulas on the structure and properties of the multiphase material were investigated. With XRD and SEM analyses, for each sample, the crystal structure and microstructure were characterized, the crystalline phase content and cell parameters were determined with Rietveld Quantification software, and the properties were tested. The comparative optimal formula determined was calcinated chamotte of 80wt% and calcinated sludge of 20wt%; and its corresponding bending strength and retention rate of bending strength after a thermal shock were 29.74 MPa and 80.15%, respectively. 相似文献

Nickel-alumina catalysts supported on cordierite monoliths of honeycomb structure surpass essentially the conventional granulated ones with respect to the output in carbon dioxide reforming of methane. Adjusting the surface acid-base properties of catalysts by introduction of alkali metal (Na, K) oxides inhibits the carbonization and as a result, improves the operational stability of these catalysts. An effect of promotion of nickel-alumina based composite doped by lanthanum oxide is found. This effect, caused by an additional route for the CO2 activation on Ni-La2O3/Al2O3/cordierite catalyst, is displayed in increase of methane conversion under conditions of an oxidant excess. 相似文献

菱镁矿风化石与叶腊石合成堇青石的结构表征 总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
采用菱镁矿风化石、叶腊石、二氧化硅微粉为主要原料,研究分析烧成温度对合成堇青石结晶度、晶粒尺寸、晶相组成和显微结构来确定适宜的合成温度。用X′ Pert plus软件对X射线衍射图进行拟合,分析试样的结晶度,用半定量(semi-quantification)法对试样结晶相中晶相组成进行计算,用Scherrer公式计算试样中堇青石、方石英晶粒的粒径大小。结果表明:采用菱镁矿风化石与叶腊石为原料合成堇青石,当温度由1 350 ℃增加到1 400 ℃,试样的结晶度增加,堇青石晶粒尺寸和堇青石相量增加,在1 400 ℃时,试样结晶度最高,晶粒尺寸最大。晶相组成中堇青石相占67%,方石英相占33%。当温度大于1 400 ℃,试样结晶度降低,堇青石和方石英晶粒尺寸减小,当温度在1 500 ℃时,堇青石相消失,促进了方石英相析出。采用菱镁矿风化石与叶腊石为原料合成堇青石的最佳烧成温度为1 400 ℃。 相似文献

Synthesis of cordierite gels was performed using Si(OC2H5)4 and aluminum and magnesium nitrates as starting materials under basic conditions. Further heat treatment yields the successive
crystallisation of μ and α-cordierites and of some amounts of spinel as a secondary phase as revealed by X-ray diffraction.
The poor final densification (84% of the theoretical value) of samples obtained from the as-prepared powders has been improved
by ball-milling to values up to 95–98% of the theoretical value, the spinel proportion being simultaneously decreased. 相似文献

Cordierite porous ceramics Z, X, and K were prepared using three mixtures of clay minerals: Z from kaolinite, talc, and aluminum
hydroxide, X from kaolinite, talc, vermiculite, and aluminum hydroxide, and K from kaolinite, talc, and magnesium oxide. Ceramics
were different in porosity, specific surface area, cordierite polymorphs, and secondary crystalline phases. Vermiculite influenced
textural architecture of calcined cordierite ceramics X and predestinated crystallization of the high-temperature hexagonal
α-cordierite with secondary minerals enstatite, spinel and corundum. Ceramics Z contained low-temperature orthorhombic β-cordierite,
enstatite, and corundum, K was diphase of β-cordierite and forsterite. Total pore area (TPA) and specific surface area (SSA)
of X, in spite of the higher porosity and the pore size distribution in the range of 300–1000 nm, were smaller in comparison
with TPA and SSA of Z. Ceramics K retained high porosity, two maxima at 300–1000 nm and 50–200 nm in the pores size distribution,
and the highest TPA and SSA compared to those observed in ceramics Z and X.
