Lithium (Li) (0–5 wt%) doped V2O5 thin films were spray deposited at 450 °C onto ITO substrates. Structural analysis using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy revealed orthorhombic phase of the films. In addition to the V2O5 phase, presence of VO2 peaks due to high deposition temperature is also evident from structural and optical characterization. The non-stoichiometric nature of the films due to loss of the terminal O atom was confirmed from Raman spectroscopy. The direct band gap, indirect bandgap, and phonon energies were also calculated from optical studies. Different charge states of vanadium ions present in the film were identified from X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy study. Results from cyclic voltammetry experiments reflected significant differences between the undoped and Li doped V2O5 samples. Transport properties by Hall-effect measured at room temperature indicated significant increase in conductivity, carrier concentration and mobility of V2O5 thin films on doping with Li. A Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) was fabricated using mobility enhanced 5 wt% Li doped V2O5 film as photoanode and its efficiency was found to be 2.7%. A simple electrochromic cell is fabricated using undoped V2O5 thin film to demonstrate the colour change.  相似文献

The need for clean and efficient energy storage has become the center of attention due to the eminent global energy crisis and growing ecological concerns. A key component in this effort is the ultra-high performance battery, which will play a major role in the energy industry. To meet the demands in portable electronic devices, electric vehicles, and large-scale energy storage systems, it is necessary to prepare advanced batteries with high safety, fast charge ratios, and discharge capabilities at a low cost. Cathode materials play a significant role in determining the performance of batteries. Among the possible electrode materials is vanadium pentoxide, which will be discussed in this review, due to its low cost and high theoretical capacity. Additionally, aqueous electrolytes, which are environmentally safe, provide an alternative approach compared to organic media for safe, cost-effective, and scalable energy storage. In this review, we will reveal the industrial potential of competitive methods to grow cathodes with excellent stability and enhanced electrochemical performance in aqueous media and lay the foundation for the large-scale production of electrode materials.  相似文献

Abstract

A facile and efficient method for the preparation of Z-aldoximes is improved by means of P2O5/SiO2 reagent in solvent-free media. Phosphorus pentoxide supported on silica gel (P2O5/SiO2) has been used as an efficient and reusable catalyst for the one‐pot pseudo four‐component synthesis of 2,4,5‐trisubstituted imidazoles from benzil or benzoin, aldehydes, and ammonium acetate. It was also used for four‐component preparation of 1,2,4,5‐tetrasubstituted imidazoles from benzil or benzoin, aldehydes, primary amine, and ammonium acetate under thermal solvent‐free conditions. The remarkable features of this new procedure are high conversions, cleaner reaction, simple experimental and work‐up procedures and also the catalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture and reused several times without any loss of its activity.  相似文献

Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite methylammonium lead iodide (CH3NH3PbI3) generally tends to show n-type semiconductor properties. In this work, a field-effect transistor (FET) device based on a CH3NH3PbI3 single crystal with tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5) as the top gate dielectric was fabricated. The p-type field-effect transport properties of the device were observed in the dark. The hole mobility of the device extracted from transfer characteristics in the dark was 8.7×10-5 cm2·V-1·s-1, which is one order of magnitude higher than that of polycrystalline FETs with SiO2 as the bottom gate dielectric. In addition, the effect of light illumination on the CH3NH3PbI3 single-crystal FET was studied. Light illumination strongly influenced the field effect of the device because of the intense photoelectric response of the CH3NH3PbI3 single crystal. Different from a CH3NH3PbI3 polycrystalline FET with a bottom gate dielectric, even with the top gate dielectric shielding, light illumination of 5.00 mW·cm-2 caused the hole current to increase by one order of magnitude compared with that in the dark (VGS (gate-source voltage)=VDS (drain-source voltage)=20 V) and the photoresponsivity reached 2.5 A·W-1. The introduction of Ta2O5 as the top gate dielectric selectively enhanced hole transport in the single-crystal FET, indicating that in the absence of external factors, by appropriate device design, CH3NH3PbI3 also has potential for use in ambipolar transistors.  相似文献

Neutral macrocyclic compounds (crown ethers and cryptands) and charged molecular species (alkylammonium iodides) were intercalated into vanadium oxide xerogel (V2O5 · nH2O) to study their influence on the electrical behaviour of this inorganic 2D host lattice. Treatment with alkyl or arylammonium iodide solutions produced the intercalation of organic cations accompanied by the reduction of a fraction of V (V) to V (IV). Characterisation by different techniques allowed the postulation of the interlayer arrangement of the guest species. The study of electrical behaviour at different temperatures indicated that the properties of the hybrid materials can be mainly related to the nature of guest species, the degree of host lattice reduction, the interlayer water content, and the␣presence of metal ions deliberately introduced in the system.
