The photoionization of H atoms irradiated by few-cycle laser pulses is studied numerically. The variations of the total ionization, the partial ionizations in opposite directions, and the corresponding asymmetry with the carrier-envelope phase in several pulse durations are obtained. We find that besides a stronger modulation on the partial ionizations, the change of pulse duration leads to a shift along carrier-envelope (CE) phase in the calculated signals. The phase shift arises from the nonlinear property of ionization and relates closely to the Coulomb attraction of the parent ion to the ionized electron. Our calculations show good agreement with the experimental observation under similar conditions.  相似文献

We provide a detailed quantum treatment of the spectral characteristics and of the dynamics of nondispersive two-electron wave packets along the periodically driven, collinear frozen planet configuration of helium. These highly correlated, long-lived wave packets arise as a quantum manifestation of regular islands in a mixed classical phase space, which are induced by nonlinear resonances between the external driving and the unperturbed dynamics of the frozen-planet configuration. Particular emphasis is given to the dependence of the ionization rates of the wave packet states on the driving field parameters and on the quantum mechanical phase space resolution, preceded by a comparison of 1D and 3D life times of the unperturbed frozen planet. Furthermore, we study the effect of a superimposed static electric field component, which, on the grounds of classical considerations, is expected to stabilize the real 3D dynamics against large (and possibly ionizing) deviations from collinearity. In this work the results obtained in the preparation and characterization of carbons made from almond tree pruning by non-catalytic and catalytic gasification (using K and Co) with air are analyzed and discussed. The main aim was to obtain high quality activated carbons at the lowest possible cost. The variables studied have been the temperature (190-260 °C) and the time (1-10 h) in non-catalytic gasification and the influence of the catalyst type (K and Co, 1 wt.% referred to cation, at 190 °C and 1 h) and the time (1-4 h) in catalytic gasification with Co at 190 °C. The air flow rate used in all the series was 167 cm3 min−1. In non-catalytic gasification the reaction normalized rate versus the conversion degree was maintained until a conversion value of 10% for the experiment made at 260 °C since, at lower temperatures, this rate drops quickly for low conversion values. The N2 adsorption isotherms for the carbons of this series resemble type I, although there is an increase of N2 adsorbed volume at relatively high pressures. A temperature rise produced an increase of the carbon porosity and BET specific surface (116-469 m2 g−1). The activation time has a positive effect on the N2 volume adsorbed by the carbons. The isotherms shapes were similar to those previously commented. A concentration equal to 1 wt.% was used to study the influence of the catalyst type. Under the studied experimental conditions, Co drives to a bigger porosity development than K, although with both catalysts a very similar pore size distribution is obtained. The activation time, in the gasifications catalyzed with Co, gives rise to a very important porosity development in the carbons. This produces a strong increase of the carbon specific surface area with very high values in the 4 h experiment, in which a BET specific surface of 959 m2 g−1 was obtained.  相似文献

The use of two activated carbon fibres, one laboratorial sample prepared from a commercial acrylic textile fibre and one commercial sample of Kynol®, as prepared/received and modified by reaction with powdered sulfur and H2S gas in order to increase the sulfur content were studied for the removal of mercury from aqueous solution and from flue gases from a fluidized bed combustor. The sulfur introduced ranged from 1 to 6 wt.% depending on the method used. The most important parameter for the mercury uptake is the type of sulfur introduced rather than the total amount and it was found that the H2S treatment of ACF leads to samples with the highest mercury uptake, despite the lower sulfur amount introduced. The modified samples by both methods can remove HgCl2 from aqueous solutions at pH 6 within the range 290-710 mg/g (ACF) which can be favourably compared with other studies already published. The use of a filter made with an activated carbon fibre modified by powdered sulfur totally removed the mercury species present in the flue gases produced by combustion of fossil fuel.  相似文献

Using cherry stones, the preparation of activated carbon has been undertaken in the present study by chemical activation with potassium hydroxide. A series of KOH-activated products was prepared by varying the carbonisation temperature in the 400-900 °C range. Such products were characterised texturally by gas adsorption (N2, −196 °C), mercury porosimetry, and helium and mercury density measurements. FT-IR spectroscopy was also applied. The carbons prepared as a rule are microporous and macroporous solids. The degree of development of surface area and porosity increases with increasing carbonisation temperature. For the carbon heated at 900 °C the specific surface area (BET) is 1624 m2 g−1, the micropore volume is 0.67 cm3 g−1, the mesopore volume is 0.28 cm3 g−1, and the macropore volume is 1.84 cm3 g−1.  相似文献

A sol-gel method has been used to fabricate a cholesterol MIP for application in polar solutions. In this study, (cholesteryl propylcarbamate)triethoxysilane and tetraethyl orthosilicate were used as the hydrophobic monomer and crosslinker, respectively. The MIP had a larger pore volume when formation of the polymer was catalyzed at a higher pH than when it was formed at lower pH values, with the pore diameters being 3.5 nm and 2 nm, respectively for materials formed at high and low pH values. Both of these pore volumes were greater than those found for the respective control polymers formed without template. However, only the polymers formed at low pH values showed an imprinting effect. Compared with other methods explored, the sol-gel procedure gave only a small amount of non-specific binding for both the MIP and NIP when synthesized at low pH values. The largest imprinting-induced promotion of binding (IPB) value of the MIP (13 650%) was obtained with [HCl] = 0.01 M in the sol-gel solution. The MIP showed high selectivity towards cholesterol in comparison with other steroid hormones, and also to a lesser extent recognized vitamin D3 in methanol solution containing 5 vol.% water.  相似文献

It has turned out that the analysis ofclassical periodic orbits is the key to understanding the modulations in thequantal spectra of hydrogen Rydberg atoms in magnetic fields. Inspired by this quantum chaological connection, we analyse some fundamental periodic orbits of the diamagnetic Kepler problem, abandoning the condition of vanishing azimuthal angular momentuml z used in the literature so far. We report the bifurcation and confluence schemes of the orbits in their dependence onl z and discuss the structural changes in terms of catastrophe theory.  相似文献

An experimental investigation of laser-induced breakdown using Nd:YAG laser harmonics for argon, nitrogen and oxygen gases is reported. Pressure dependence as well as wavelength dependence of the breakdown threshold irradianceI th is investigated. The experimental observations for 1.064 and 0.532 m laser wavelengths are in agreement with theoretical calculations which include the effects of multiphoton ionization and cascade ionization.  相似文献

The modification of multiphoton ionization spectra through third harmonic generation in focused laser beam geometries is reported. A strong enhancement of the ionization peaks corresponding to the decay of thenf' autoionizing series of Kr and the observation of a double resonance in Xe, which is missing in low atomic density spectra, is shown to originate from excitation channels involving absorption of third harmonic photons. This excitation is demonstrated to occur in a significantly extended volume outside the focal region, thus strongly increasing the ionization yield.  相似文献

Using atomic beam technique, a combination of collisional and laser excitation, and photoion detection, autoionizing Cu I states in the region of the ionization limits Cu II 3d 9 4s(3,1 D) were investigated. In spite of the complicated structure of the signals due to the four different ionization limits3 D 3,3 D 2,3 D 1 and1 D 2 and the large number of possible (LSJ)-states, which can be reached by this experimental technique, the majority of the signals could be attributed to definite Rydberg series 3d 9 4s(3 D 3,3 D 2,3 D 1,1 D 2)nl (LSJ). Perturbations were analyzed by the three- and four-channel quantum defect theory and by Hartree-Fock calculations. General formulas for the calculation of the photoionization cross section by the four-channel quantum defect theory in the case of two closed and two open channels are given.  相似文献
