The three-dimensional miniaturized optical surface-mounted device (TRIMO-SMD) is a new flexible and automated assembly technique for small optical components (maximum diameter for a lens is 2 mm) based on laser reflow soldering technique. This technology can be compared to the electronic SMD technique but applied to micro-optical devices. We present some recent developments of TRIMO-SMD in its application to industrial products. 相似文献

The present study is concerned with the determination of the optimal shape for a package containing multiple heating elements.
The optimization tool has been developed based on the inverse heat transfer (IHT) approach, incorporating a direct problem
solver, a numerical grid generator, a direct-differentiation sensitivity analyzer, and the conjugate gradient method. Shape
design that leads to a specified outer surface temperature distribution is predicted by the approach. In this study, the effects
of internal heat generation on optimal shapes of the packagings have also been evaluated. Several practical cases with various
imbedded heating elements and thermal conditions are studied. Results show that the approach provides an efficient computer-aided

A method based on headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is proposed for the quality control of multilayer packaging and its manufacturing process. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are produced in the manufacturing process of the packaging. They can cause organoleptic problems or modify the properties of the packaging depending on the nature and the amount of the VOCs formed. The quantification using packaging samples with a known VOC concentration for the calibration is proposed in order to reduce the analysis time, and the method is validated using a statistical test. Finally, the method is applied to the determination of odour-responsible compounds in multilayer packaging samples obtained under different extrusion-coating conditions, i.e. type of extruder, type of polymer and extrusion speed. 相似文献

The present work presents and discusses the interrelation between composition, morphology, thermal history, mechanical and
barrier properties to oxygen and limonene of composites of HDPE/MA-PE/cellulose fibers of significant interest in, among others,
food packaging applications. From the overall results, it was observed that increasing the loading of purified alpha-cellulose
fibers in the polyethylene matrix beyond 10 wt.% led to a decrease in the permeability coefficient of d-limonene, effect which was found to be primarily related to a decrease in the overall solubility of this strongly plasticizing
aroma component. On the other hand, the oxygen permeability was found to decrease to a significant extend with increasing
fiber content beyond 5 wt.%, but this effect was more strongly ascribed to a significant decrease in the diffusion coefficient.
Therefore, the fibers are thought to generate a more tortuous path for the non-interacting gas molecules to travel across
the composites thickness, even when tested at high relative humidity conditions. Optimum fiber loading levels in terms of
overall property balance were found to be around 20 wt.%. 相似文献

The increasing variety of products offered by the food industry has helped the industry to respond to market trends, but at
the same time has resulted in a more complex production process, which requires flexibility and an efficient coordination
of existing resources. Especially in industrial yogurt production, there is a wide variety of products that differ in features
like fat content, the whey used to produce the mixture, the flavor, the size of the container or the language on the label.
The great diversification and the special features that characterize yogurt production lines (satisfaction of multiple due
dates, variable processing times, sequence-dependent setup times and costs and monitoring of inventory levels), render generic
scheduling methodologies impractical for real-world applications. In this work we present a customized Mixed Integer Linear
Programming (MILP) model for optimizing yogurt packaging lines that consist of multiple parallel machines. The model is characterized
by parsimony in the utilization of binary variables and necessitates the use of only a small pre-determined number of time
periods. The efficiency of the proposed model is illustrated through its application to the yogurt production plant of a leading
dairy product manufacturing company in Greece. 相似文献

Condom quality is, in many countries, regulated through ISO (international standard) 4074. It prescribes a maximum shelf life of 5 years and also a real time stability requirement to ensure the products are fit for use until the expiry date. This article reports on tests done on condoms well past their expiry date, as well as some which were near their expiry date and then submitted to the additional challenge of storage at 50 °C for 90 days. The results show that, with two exceptions, the condoms continued to comply comfortably with the requirements of the standard. It thus appears that the 5 year maximum shelf life currently allowed for condoms should be reviewed. 相似文献

提出一种适合作为二次变换元件使用的通用型应变传感预制结构——光纤光栅应变片.它以裸Bragg光栅为研究对象,采用分体式设计方法把敏感光栅与连接光纤分别封装于独立的基体中,并通过两个基体相互之间的插入实现了Bragg光栅与测量光路的机械连接.理论分析和实验研究表明:光纤光栅应变片具有与Bragg光栅相同的反射谱,其测量线性度好,灵敏度高,温度误差则随被测试件性质不同而变化,当试件材料与基底材料一致时,温度误差可以忽略. 相似文献

Biodegradable poly(propylene carbonate)/layered double hydroxide composite films with enhanced gas barrier and mechanical properties 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Relatively well crystallized and high aspect ratio Mg-Al layered double hydroxides(LDHs) were prepared by coprecipitation process in aqueous solution and further rehydrated to an organic modified LDH(OLDH) in the presence of surfactant. The intercalated structure and high aspect ratio of OLDH were verified by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). A series of poly(propylene carbonate)(PPC)/OLDH composite films with different contents of OLDH were prepared via a melt-blending method. Their cross section morphologies, gas barrier properties and tensile strength were investigated as a function of OLDH contents. SEM results show that OLDH platelets are well dispersed within the composites and oriented parallel to the composite sheet plane. The gas barrier properties and tensile strength are obviously enhanced upon the incorporation of OLDH. Particularly, PPC/2%OLDH film exhibits the best barrier properties among all the composite films. Compared with pure PPC, the oxygen permeability coefficient(OP) and water vapor permeability coefficient(WVP) is reduced by 54% and 17% respectively with 2% OLDH addition. Furthermore, the tensile strength of PPC/2%OLDH is 83% higher than that of pure PPC with only small lose of elongation at break. Therefore, PPC/OLDH composite films show great potential application in packaging materials due to its biodegradable properties, superior oxygen and moisture barrier characteristics. 相似文献

基于拉曼散射的分布式光纤温度传感器由于具有抗电磁干扰、耐高压、可连续测温等优点,在超导电缆及相关超导电力装置中具有潜在应用场景.在超导电缆低温运行环境中,常规光纤封装材料耐低温性能差,其收缩变形会降低光纤测温性能甚至破坏光纤结构.本文对低温下不同封装光纤测温性能展开研究,选择四种光纤样品,在77~287 K温度区间内对其进行了稳态和动态温度测量实验,分析了低温下不同封装材料、结构和厚度等因素对光纤测温性能的影响,给出了适用于液氮低温测温的光纤封装材料和结构,实验验证了聚烯烃紧套光纤在时间和空间上连续测温的可行性. 相似文献
