The signal quality of a fiber-optic distributed temperature sensor based on optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR) is improved using a pre-filtering technique in the iterative deconvolution method. Investigation of the performance is proposed using iteration conditions in which recovery rate of the signal-component is equal to that of the unfiltering technique. The recovered signal in the pre-filtering technique gives a good signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), 3 times of the unfiltered signal. Consequently, improvements in the OTDR signal with SNR of from 10 to 100 are obtained under the iterations for both distance and temperature resolutions. 相似文献

本文提出一种新的解调方法,在DOFRPS(分布光纤喇曼光子传感器)系统中采用Rayleigh散射OTDR(光学时域反射)曲线解调Raman散射OTDR曲线,提高了系统的测温灵敏度、测温精度,扩展了系统的功能,在2km光纤上可实时测量1000个点的温度、应力和压力;在系统中设置了光纤取样环,确定系统的修正系数,通过计算机进行实时修正,提高了测量稳定性,实验结果与理论分析一致,系统的测温精度达±1℃。 相似文献

以单环后向Rayleigh散射式光纤转动传感器原理为基础,提出了一种三环形腔并联Rayleigh后向散射式光纤转动传感器新结构.利用三个2×2单模光纤耦合器,建立了并联三环形腔Rayleigh后向散射式光纤转动传感器的理论模型,给出了用光时域反射计(OTDR)探测到的信号强度表达式.通过计算机仿真优化了参量,选择三环的长度分别为1 500 m、1 078 m和680 m.三个2×2光纤耦合器的耦合系数分别为95.23%、94.88%和95.26%构建了测试系统,对不同转速所探测到的后向Rayleigh散射信号进行测量,得到与理论相一致的实验结果.三环的采用,增加了测试的有效数据,使其更有利于识别,提高了测量转速的准确度. 相似文献

A distributed fiber sensing system merging Mach–Zehnder interferometer and phase-sensitive optical time domain reflectometer (Φ-OTDR) is demonstrated for vibration measurement, which requires wide frequency response and accurate location. Two narrow line-width lasers with delicately different wavelengths are used to constitute the interferometer and reflectometer respectively. A narrow band Fiber Bragg Grating is responsible for separating the two wavelengths. In addition, heterodyne detection is applied to maintain the signal to noise rate of the locating signal. Experiment results show that the novel system has a wide frequency from 1 Hz to 50 MHz, limited by the sample frequency of data acquisition card, and a spatial resolution of 20 m, according to 200 ns pulse width, along 2.5 km fiber link. 相似文献

为了提高光纤故障处置效率,设计了一种基于GIS和OTDR的光纤智能监控系统。介绍了系统的总体技术架构和软件功能框架。采用小波分析技术,提取OTDR曲线中的事件信息,找出故障点位置。将故障点的光纤长度数据转换为经纬度数据,并结合光缆拓扑结构和GIS系统,将故障点在电子地图上实时显示并告警。经过系统测试,结果表明:系统的OTDR损耗分辨率达到0.01dB,动态范围为34dB~45dB,监测响应时间为5ms;故障定位误差小于10米,告警时间为2ms,完全满足光缆应急处置要求。 相似文献

A quasi-distributed displacement sensor for structural monitoring using an optical time domain reflectometer is demonstrated. Four displacement sensing heads are placed along a standard single mode optical fibre in several locations with different intervals. Their configurations introduce power loss through the decrease of their fibre loop radius when displacement is applied. The decrease of the light intensity with displacement variation is reported. Losses of 9 dB for a 120 mm displacement with a sensitivity of 0.027 dB/mm are reported. The quasi-distributed configuration is able to address sensors with 1 m distance resolution between them. 相似文献

波分复用无源光网络具有支路多、节点密的特征,为精确定位各支路的断点,提出了一种基于可调谐混沌Fabry-Perot激光器的检测方法.将光反馈多纵模Fabry-Perot半导体激光器作为混沌光源,在改变反馈光光波模式的条件下输出波长可调谐的混沌激光.以探测光的波长标记各被测支路,将探测信号和携带延时信息的回波信号进行互相关运算,根据相关曲线峰值的位置即可完成定位.分析了可调谐混沌源的特性,并以1×4的波分复用无源光网络为例,进行了初步的实验验证,结果表明该方法可以精确定位光网络支路中连接点及断点的位置,空间分辨率达4 cm,且与探测距离无关. 相似文献

讨论了分布式光纤拉曼增益放大器的工作原理,采用1320nm固体激光器作为抽运源,获得了1410nm波段附近的光放大,在单模GI光纤长度为23km时,初步研究了拉曼放大器增益与光纤作用长度的关系,抽运脉冲峰值功率分别为50W、30W时,光纤的有效作用长度分别为15.5km和10.5km;研究了在不同的光纤有效作用长度时,拉曼放大器增益与抽运功率的关系;从光纤拉曼光谱图估算了光纤拉曼放大器的光谱宽度为50nm或250cm^-1。 相似文献
