Proton conductivity of phosphoric acid derivative of fullerene   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The proton conductive property of methano [60] fullerene diphosphoric acid has been investigated under various humidity conditions at the temperature range between 15 and 45 °C. It shows proton conductivity as high as 10−2 S cm−1 at 25 °C under relative humidity of 95%. Thermal analyses including TG–DTA and thermal desorption mass spectroscopy (TDS) confirm that the compound is thermally stable up to 200 °C. Proton conduction of the compound depends very much on humidity or water content. The logarithmic conductivity at 25 °C is increased linearly with increasing relative humidity. The activation energy (Ea) estimated from the slope of log(σT) vs. 1/T is decreased from 1.08 to 0.52 eV, as the relative humidity is increased from 40% to 75%. The humidity dependence of conductivity is discussed in the light of the observed hydration isotherm.  相似文献

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based proton conducting polymer electrolytes have been prepared by the solution cast technique. The conductivity is observed to increase from 10−9 to 10−4 S cm−1 as a result of orthophosphoric acid (H3PO4) addition. The plot of conductivity vs temperature shows that a phase transition occurred at 343 K in the sample PVA-33 wt% H3PO4. The β-relaxation peak is observed at 313 K. The glass transition temperature of PVA-33 wt% H3PO4 is 343 K. Orthophosphoric acid seems to play a dual role, i.e., as a proton source and as a plasticizer. The ac conductivity σ ac = s was also calculated in the temperature range from 303 to 353 K. The conduction mechanism was inferred by plotting the graph of s vs T from which the conduction mechanism for sample PVA-17 wt% H3PO4 was inferred to occur by way of the overlapping large polaron tunneling (OLPT) model and the conduction mechanism for the sample PVA-33 wt% H3PO4 by way of the correlated barrier height (CBH) model.  相似文献

Conduction stability of high-density polyethylene/carbon black (HDPE/CB) composites with a CB volume fraction slightly above the percolation threshold is studied in relation to electric field action at various ambient temperatures below the melting point of HDPE. It is found that resistance of the composites shows considerable changes after the electric field is switched off. Influence of irradiation crosslinking of HDPE on the conduction stability is also discussed.  相似文献

The uncertainty of temperature prediction from the heat flux error is estimated using first and second order adjoint equations. The adjoint codes developed for the inverse heat transfer problems provide the uncertainty estimation for the corresponding forward problems. Numerical tests corroborate the feasibility of fast uncertainty estimation using Hessian maximum eigenvalue obtained via second order adjoint equations.  相似文献

In the present work, the synthesis and characterization of the Bis(4-acetylanilinium) tetrachlorocuprate(II) compound are presented. The structure of this compound is analyzed by X-ray diffraction which confirms the formation of single phase and is in good agreement the literature. Indeed, the Thermo gravimetric Analysis (TGA) shows that the decomposition of the compound is observed in the range of 420–520 K. However, the differential thermal analysis (DTA) indicates the presence of a phase transition at T=363 k. Furthermore, the dielectric properties and AC conductivity were studied over a temperature range (338–413 K) and frequency range (200 Hz–5 MHz) using complex impedance spectroscopy. Dielectric measurements confirmed such thermal analyses by exhibiting the presence of an anomaly in the temperature range of 358–373 K. The complex impedance plots are analyzed by an electrical equivalent circuit consisting of resistance, constant phase element (CPE) and capacitance. The activation energy values of two distinct regions are obtained from log σT vs 1000/T plot and are found to be E=1.27 eV (T<363 K) and E=1.09 eV (363 K<T).The frequency dependence of ac conductivity, σac, has been analyzed by Jonscher's universal power law σ(ω)=σdc+s. The value of s is to be temperature-dependent, which has a tendency to increase with temperature and the non-overlapping small polaron tunneling (NSPT) model is the most applicable conduction mechanism in the title compound.  相似文献

Conduction pumping is appropriate way for liquid pumping due to its benefits like being noise free and easy controlling. In the present work fully developed falling film flow in the presence of conduction pumps has been experimentally investigated. Two different arrangements were selected and Transformer oil was used. Results indicated that, applying electric field would decrease thickness of falling film in wide range of Re number. The variation of wave's frequency and velocity regarding to Re number is also presented and compared for arrangements. Conduction pumps increased wave's frequency at low Re numbers conversely decreased it at high Re numbers.  相似文献

A biodegradable gel polymer electrolyte system based on chitosan/magnesium trifluoromethanesulfonate/1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethanesulfonate (CA/Mg (Tf)2/EMITf) is developed. The structure, thermal performance, mechanical properties, ionic conductivity, relaxation time, electrochemical stability and ionic transport number of the membranes are analyzed by various techniques. The ion migration mainly depends on the complexation and decomplexation of Mg2+ with amine band (NH2) in chitosan. The 90CA-10Mg (Tf)2 system plasticized with 10% EMITf (relative to the amount of 90CA-10Mg (Tf)2) is identified as the optimum one and the temperature dependence of ionic conductivity obeys the Arrhenius rule. Moreover, the relaxation time of the electrolyte is very short, being just 1.25 × 10−6 s, and its electrochemical stability window is quite wide, being up to 4.15 V. The anodic oxidation and cathodic reduction of Mg at the Mg-electrode/electrolyte interface is facile, and the ionic transference number of this electrolyte is 0.985, indicating that it could be a potential electrolyte candidate for Mg-ion devices.  相似文献

We aim to explore the role that conduction band tail states play in shaping the optical response of hydrogenated amorphous silicon. We do so within the framework of an empirical model for the valence band and conduction band density of states functions, one that considers valence band band, valence band tail, conduction band band, and conduction band tail states. We examine the sensitivity of the joint density of states function to variations in the conduction band tail breadth, all other parameters being held fixed at their nominal hydrogenated amorphous silicon values. We find that when the conduction band tail is narrower than the valence band tail, its role in shaping the corresponding spectral dependence of the joint density of states function is relatively minor. This justifies the use of a simplified empirical model for the density of states functions that neglects the presence of the conduction band tail states in the characterization of the optical response of this material. Experimental data corresponding to hydrogenated amorphous silicon, demonstrating that the conduction band tail breadth is always less than the valence band tail breadth for this material, is then presented. Finally, fundamental reasons for the observed asymmetry in the band tail breadths are reviewed.  相似文献

We consider the conduction of heat or electricity between a pair of equal, touching cylinders embedded in a matrix. We solve exactly a problem in which each cylinder contains a heat source, and analyse the solution asymptotically for the case in which the conductivity of the fibres is much greater than that of the matrix. Using this analysis, we assess the accuracy of approximate schemes for calculating the interactions between the fibres of a composite material. We conclude that the approximate solutions are better at predicting global quantities, such as total flux, than they are at predicting pointwise quantities such as the temperature field.  相似文献
