走出物理实验教学的误区

从SCI论文统计数据看中国力学学科的国际地位和趋势

从统计角度看,一个国家在某学科上的相对国际地位的一个客观衡量指标,是该学科高水平论文的发表情况。我们在清华大学图书馆计算机国际联机检索中心的帮助下,以１９９８年进入ＳＣＩ源刊目录的所有４４种力学期刊（参见附录）为对象;逐年检索了从１９９０年至１９９９年９月底,这些刊物上所发表的全部论文数,以及责任作者为中国（不含我国的台湾、香港和澳门地区）、美国、英国、法国、德国、意大利、日本、俄罗斯、加拿大、波兰、以色列、澳大利亚、荷兰、印度、巴西等１５个国家的逐年论文数．同时还检索了上述国家所有学科总的ＳＣ…

Preliminary Lattice Study of I=0 KK Scattering

We deliver the realistic ab initio lattice investigations of KK^- scattering. In the Asqtad-improved staggered dynamical fermion formulation, we carefully measure KK^- four-point function in the I=0 channel by moving wall sources without gauge fixing, and clearly find an attractive interaction in this channel, which is in agreement with the theoretical predictions. An essential ingredient in our lattice calculation is to properly treat the disconnected diagram. Moreover, we explain the difficulties of these lattice calculations, and discuss the way to improve the statistics. Our lattice investigations are carried out with the MILC 2 ＋ 1 gauge configuration at lattice spacing a ≈ 0.15 fro.

Non-Gaussian Phase Screen Based on log-Poisson Distribution and Effect on Imaging

Gaussian models without intermittency are extensively used in estimating the effect of turbulence, but it also brings some puzzles, for example the observed pulse shape that disagrees with the result of the standard theory of interstellar scintillations. Indeed the property of intermittency is inherent in turbulence, i.e., all the quantities that characterize it suffer from strong fluctuations. So it is necessary to consider turbulent intermittency in many applications. In this paper we propose a non-Gaussian phase screen, which obeys log-Poisson statistics, and also offers the corresponding point spread function （PSF）. These results describe that intermittency leads to the more extent and different directional distribution of PSF. Theoretical analysis is made under the hypothesis of the phase difference satisfying log-Poisson statistics, and the average point spread function, which accord qualitatively with the result of the above generated phase screen, is derived.     

Benford法则:中国宏观经济统计数据质量评价的一种新范式

中国宏观经济统计数据的真实性和数据质量一直以来饱受质疑,特别是2008年美国金融危机以来,更受到世界各国和许多国内研究者的批评.引进、鉴证并扩展了Benford法则的分布拟合和宏观统计数据的数据随机性质量评价能力,对我国统计系统公布的宏观统计数据进行了客观、真实和有效的评价.研究表明,在0.05的置信水平下,我国的国民经济核算、政府财政统计、金融业、国际收支平衡这四个宏观经济部门的主要经济指标不存在人为操纵和修正,统计数据质量有了显著提升.     

Hadron program at COMPASS

The fixed target COMPASS experiment at CERN offers the opportunity to search for exotic mesons and glueball candidates in the light quark sector with unprecedented statistics.Preliminary results from the 2008 data taken with an incoming negative hadron beam （190 GeV/c,mainly pions） on a liquid hydrogen target are presented.New detectors dedicated to hadron beam measurements have been added.These give access to rare neutral and kaonic channels.An amplitude analysis which will allow to fit simultaneously diffractively and/or centrally produced resonances will be described and compared with those used in the CERN WA102 and BNL E852 experiments.
