The title organotin carbohydrate, C31H36O6Sn, has been synthesized and its molecular structure has been determined in solution and in the solid state. NMR, infrared, mass and X-ray crystallographic techniques were used. The chiral molecules crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21 withZ=2. The triphenyltin and carbohydrate moieties are linked by a trans methylene-oxygen-methylene arrangement. The pyranosyl ring adopts a twist-boat conformation and the isopropylidene rings adopt different (half-chair and envelope) forms. Solution and solid-state conformations are similar as only three 13C shift values are greater than 2ppm; the 119Sn value is 12 ppm. 相似文献

Polyol Metal Complexes. 25. rac-Mannose, rac-Arabitol and L -Threitol as Deprotonated Ligands in Ferrates(III ) Ba2[Fe2(β-rac-ManfH?5)2] · 12H2O ( 1 ), Sr4[Fe4(rac-Arab1,2,3,5H?4)4(OH)2]CO3 · 33 H2O ( 2 ), and Ba2[Fe2(L-ThreH?4)2(OH)2] · 12.5 H2O ( 3 ) (Man = mannose, Arab = arabitol, Thre = threitol) have been crystallized from alkaline aqueous solution. Crystal structure analysis revealed dinuclear ferrate(III ) ions for 1 and 3 , the former being a Ci-symmetrical homoleptic ferric complex with pentadentate pentaanions derived from racemic β-mannofuranose. In 3 , besides tetradentate L -threitolato ligands, there is one terminal hydroxo ligand at each ferric center. Hydroxo ligands are also present in the Ci-symmetrical hexaanions of 2 , which are tetranuclear planar entities built up from four edge-sharing FeO6 octahedra. However arabitol is a pentitol, the tetraanionic ligands are only tetradentate for steric reasons. 相似文献

Substituent effects on the SmI2/Pd(0)-promoted carbohydrate ring-contraction of 5-alkynylpyranosides
The effect of substituents on the reactivity and stereoselectivity of the SmI2/Pd(0)-promoted ring-contraction of 5-alkynylpyranosides has been examined using substrates substituted only at selected positions. While formation of 2-ethynylcyclopentanols takes place efficiently, an internal alkyne did not afford the expected product. The presence of peripheral alkoxy substituents leads to variable stereoselectivities that depend on the number and orientation of such groups. Thus, an isolated OBn substituent at C(3) (carbohydrate numbering) exerts a significant stereochemical control while additional substitution with the same group at C(4) either enhances or drastically reduces stereoselectivity depending on its orientation (α or β, respectively). 相似文献

A new parameter set (referred to as 45A4) is developed for the explicit-solvent simulation of hexopyranose-based carbohydrates. This set is compatible with the most recent version of the GROMOS force field for proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids, and the SPC water model. The parametrization procedure relies on: (1) reassigning the atomic partial charges based on a fit to the quantum-mechanical electrostatic potential around a trisaccharide; (2) refining the torsional potential parameters associated with the rotations of the hydroxymethyl, hydroxyl, and anomeric alkoxy groups by fitting to corresponding quantum-mechanical profiles for hexopyranosides; (3) adapting the torsional potential parameters determining the ring conformation so as to stabilize the (experimentally predominant) (4)C(1) chair conformation. The other (van der Waals and nontorsional covalent) parameters and the rules for third and excluded neighbors are taken directly from the most recent version of the GROMOS force field (except for one additional exclusion). The new set is general enough to define parameters for any (unbranched) hexopyranose-based mono-, di-, oligo- or polysaccharide. In the present article, this force field is validated for a limited set of monosaccharides (alpha- and beta-D-glucose, alpha- and beta-D-galactose) and disaccharides (trehalose, maltose, and cellobiose) in solution, by comparing the results of simulations to available experimental data. Dielectric-relaxation studies in the frequency range 200 kHz to 35 GHz are reported for a range of sugars (from mono- to trisaccharides) in aqueous solution. The complex dielectric spectra were analyzed using a weighted least-squares minimization method to resolve the various component relaxations, and the implications of the analyses in terms of the molecular dynamics of solute and solvent and the interactions between solute and solvent are discussed. For the highest concentration studied (ca. 2M), it was found that the most significant analysis required three discrete relaxation processes, whereas lower concentration samples could usually be satisfactorily fitted with two. Irrespective of any uncertainty in model selection, a number of conclusions regarding the solute-solvent interactions can be made, and it is shown how final quantification of the extents of hydration can be made using the input of information from other techniques. 相似文献

Spatial orientation of carbohydrates is a meaningful parameter in carbohydrate recognition processes. To vary orientation of sugars with temporal and spatial resolution, photosensitive glycoconjugates with favorable photochromic properties appear to be opportune. Here, a series of azobenzene glycosides were synthesized, employing glycoside synthesis and Mills reaction, to allow “switching” of carbohydrate orientation by reversible E/Z isomerization of the azobenzene N=N double bond. Water-soluble carbohydrate (WSC) reserved in stem is an important agronomic trait for crop improvement. The intact samples and pieces of chipped samples were employed to determine WSC content by near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS). Three NIRS models were developed to predict WSC content in wheat stem lower internode, upmost internode, and wheat glume, respectively. Moreover, a mixed model was developed for WSC quantitative analysis in the mixed sample of the three wheat organs. Statistics analysis indicated that the four models showed a high determination coefficient (R2 ≥ 0.97) and ratio of standard deviation to RMSECV (RPD ≥ 5.99). The NIRS models would allow rapid and high throughout assessments and selections of WSC contents in wheat genetics and breeding programs. 相似文献
