Dual-band isotropic metamaterial absorber based on near-field interaction in the Ku band

We numerically and experimentally investigate single-band and dual-band isotropic metamaterial absorbers (IMAs) based on metallic disks. By optimizing the diameter of the metallic disks and the thickness of the dielectric substrate, the single-band IMA is observed at 16.2 GHz with absorptivity of 97%. When adding one disk-pair to the structure, the dual-band IMA is obtained at 12.8 and 15.5 GHz due to the symmetry breaking. The physical mechanics is explained by near-field coupling effect and equivalent LC circuit model. The measurement results performed in the range 12–18 GHz show a good agreement with simulation and theoretical analysis. Our findings demonstrate a new approach to achieve dual-band and multi-band IMAs.     

High-Power CO2 Laser System with Repetition Rate Operation for High Current Multicharged Heavy Ion Generations

Experimental and numerical calculation results devoted to development of an optical system for an ion source based on a repetition rate CO₂ laser are described. The laser chain consists of a master oscillator, gas absorber cells, and a four-pass amplifier. The optical system provides smooth laser pulses with variable duration and high spatial quality that ensures efficiency for plasma heating and ion generation. The parameters of the plasma ion component measured in the CERN laboratory are applied for a lead target illumination.     

NO-2-I-体系双波长紫外分光光度法测定痕量亚硝酸根

在稀盐酸介质中,亚硝酸根氧化碘化钾的反应产物I-3在288nm和352nm处有两个强吸收峰.基于此建立了双波长紫外分光光度法测定痕量NO-2的新方法.该法简便、快速、选择性好,线性范围为0-0.4μg/mL,检出限为3.4×10-9g/mL.用于河水、井水、矿泉水中亚硝酸根的测定,结果令人满意.     

Cr^4＋：YAG可饱和吸收特性测量

测量了Cr4+:YAG材料的可饱和吸收特性,用多种数据分析方法处理了实验结果,Cr4+:YAG的基态吸收截面σgs=11×10-19cm2,激发态吸收截面σes=1.2×10-19cm2。     

光辅助超高真空CVD系统制备SiGe异质结双极晶体管研究

介绍了采用紫外光化学汽相淀积(UVCVD)、超高真空化学汽相淀积(UHVCVD)和超低压化学汽相淀积(ULPCVD)技术研制的化学汽相淀积(CVD)工艺系统,简称U³CVD系统.应用该系统,在450℃低温和10^-7Pa超高真空环境下研制出了硅锗(SiGe)材料和硅锗异质结双极晶体管(SiGe HBT)材料.实验表明,该系统制备的SiGe HBT材料性能良好.     

Passively Q-switched Self-frequency Doubling NYAB laser with GaAs Saturable Absorber

By using a passive Q-switch with GaAs saturable absorber, the Q-switched self-frequency doubling NYAB laser at 0.531μm has been successfully realized. The pulse width and the single pulse energy are measured. The numerical solutions of the coupling wave rate equations are in agreement with the experimental results.     

Properties of isolated DNA bases, base pairs and nucleosides examined by laser spectroscopy

The vibronic spectra of laser desorbed and jet cooled guanine (G) adenine (A), and cytosine (C) consist of bands from four, two and two major tautomers respectively, as revealed by UV-UV and IR-UV double resonance spectroscopy. The vibronic spectrum of adenine around 277 nm consists of weak nπ^* and strong ππ^* transitions, based on IR-UV and deuteration experiments. Precise ionization potentials of G and A were determined with 2-color, 2-photon ionization. We also measured vibronic and IR spectra of several base pairs. GC exhibits a HNH ^... OH/NH ^... N/C=O ^... HNH bonding similar to the Watson-Crick GC base pair but with C as enol tautomer. One GG isomer exhibits non-symmetric hydrogen bonding with HNH ^... N/NH ^... N/C=O ^... HNH interactions. A second observed GG isomer has a symmetrical hydrogen bond arrangement with C=O ^... NH/NH ^... O=C bonding. Two CC isomers were observed with symmetrical C=O ^... NH/NH ^... O=C bonding and nonsymmetrical C=O ^... HNH/NH ^... N interaction, respectively. Guanosine (Gs), 2-DeoxyGs und 3-DeoxyGs each exhibit only one isomer in the investigated wavelength range around 290 nm with a strong intramolecular sugar(5-OH) ^... enolguanine(3-N) hydrogen bond. Output dynamics and stabilisation of a multi-mode double-clad Yb-doped silica fibre laser

The intensity dynamics of the double-clad Yb fibre laser have been characterised. Stabilisation of the fibre laser intensity by using uniform bi-directional pumping is demonstrated. For the single-end-pumped Yb fibre laser, the output becomes more stable for the shorter fibre length due to the higher threshold of stimulated Brillouin scattering, SBS, and Kerr effects and the reduction of saturated absorber effects caused by any unpumped fibre section. By additional pumping in a double-end-pumped configuration, the output power can be scaled higher before detecting high intensity pulses initiated by SBS in the Yb fibre laser due to the reduction of saturable absorption effect. It is confirmed that uniform pumping enhances the stability of the laser output.     

Diode-end-pumped Nd:YAGLaser with Cr4+:YAG as Passive Q-switch

A diode-end-pumped Nd:YAG laser is passively Q-switched by using Cr4+:YAG as saturable absorber. When CW pumped with a laser diode which the maximum power is 550 mW, the laser produces pulses of 24 ns duration at 1064 nm, with an energy of 26 μJ.     

紫外光度法间接测定脱脂乳中的芽孢数量

为了有效控制乳制品生产过程、保证质量,克服芽孢杆菌传统计数方法周期长的缺点,本实验通过分光光度法检测芽孢中特异性物质2,6-吡啶二羧酸(DPA)。根据DPA浓度与芽孢数量的关系,建立了快速检测脱脂乳中芽孢数量的方法。本研究对脱脂乳及其芽孢处理、DPA释放及采用紫外分光光度法检测做了研究。通过准确度和加标回收率检验,建立DPA含量与芽孢数的线性关系,回归方程为y=0.2084x-0.9363,r=0.6998,经验证可有效估测脱脂乳中芽孢数量(P<0.05)。
