Asymmetric synthesis of abietane diterpenoids via B-alkyl Suzuki-Miyaura coupling. Formal total asymmetric synthesis of 12-deoxyroyleanone and cryptoquinone

A convergent synthetic strategy for abietane diterpenoids via B-alkyl Suzuki-Miyaura coupling and Lewis acid-mediated cyclization reactions is established. Asymmetric total synthesis of 12-deoxyroyleanone, an antileishmanial diterpene, is described.     

Imidazol(in)ium carboxylates as N-heterocyclic carbene ligand precursors for Suzuki-Miyaura reactions

Simple catalysts formed in situ from palladium acetate and a variety of imidazolium and imidazolinium carboxylates and dithiocarboxylates have been screened in the coupling of aryl halides with trans-2-phenylvinylboronic acid. Imidazol(in)ium carboxylates show an excellent activity, which compares to that displayed by the parent imidazol(in)ium chlorides, whereas imidazol(in)ium dithiocarboxylates are poorly efficient. Interestingly, the base employed exerts a profound influence on the trans/cis stereochemistry of the coupling product.     

Microwave-promoted Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions in a cycloalkane-based thermomorphic biphasic system

Microwave-promoted Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction of aryl halides attached to a cycloalkane-soluble platform was accomplished in a cycloalkane-based thermomorphic biphasic system. Following irradiation and subsequent cooling, the monophasic reaction mixture immediately formed a biphasic solution to allow facile workup and separation of the product.     

Synthesis and absolute configuration of cordiaquinone K, antifungal and larvicidal meroterpenoid isolated from the Panamanian plant, Cordia curassavica

Total synthesis of cordiaquinone K, a new antifungal and larvicidal meroterpenoid, is reported. The absolute configuration of cordiaquinone K was confirmed by the synthesis.     

Heck reactions of stilbenoid chromophores with alkoxysilyl-substituted styrenes: Synthesis of monomers for luminescent polymers

Luminescent stilbenoid chromophores with diethoxysilane end groups are prepared via Heck reactions. Diethoxysilane-substituted styrenes are used as vinylic components, thus allowing the combined connection of the chromophore to the silane moiety with an extension of the π-system. Monodisperse oligo(phenylenevinylene)s of different conjugation lengths and bromine or iodine as reactive sites are used as coupling partners. Electrical and optical properties are tuned via the length of the conjugated system, electron withdrawing cyanide and electron donating alkoxy side chains, the latter guarantee high solubility of the final compounds.Dedicated to Prof. Dr. H. 二茂铁咪唑盐的合成及其在Suzuki-Miyaura反应中的应用

合成了硫醚官能化、膦官能化及未官能化的二茂铁咪唑盐,并研究了以其作为N-杂环卡宾配体前体对Pd催化的Suzuki-Miyaura偶联反应的影响,发现在4-甲基溴苯与苯硼酸偶联反应中以膦官能化的配体对催化性能提高有利,而硫醚官能化不利于催化性能提高。     

含胆甾基、西佛碱的3,6-双取代哒嗪的合成和介晶性

合成了8个未见报道的中心桥连基为酯基、CH＝N基, 含有哒嗪环、胆甾基、二个苯环、不同末端链长度的双取代哒嗪化合物, 并通过示差扫描量热法(DSC)对其介晶性进行了表征. 研究表明, 末端链长度对相变温度和清亮点温度均有影响, 但对相变温度范围影响较小.     

Efficient preparation of (Z)-alkenyl derivatives from (Z)-vinyl (N,N-diisopropyl)carbamate via Ni-catalysed coupling reactions

A (Z)-vinyl (N,N-diisopropyl)carbamate treated with Grignard reagents, under Wenkert Nickel-catalysed conditions, gave access to several substituted (Z)-alkenyl derivatives. These Nickel-catalysed reactions, carried out with vinyl-, phenyl-, p-methoxyphenyl-, trimethylsilylmethylmagnesium bromide and benzylmagnesium chloride, led to the corresponding (Z)-alkenyl derivatives in good yields and high stereoselectivities.
