分析了亚波长金属光栅的双边衍射辐射机制和特性.利用运动电子激励亚波长光栅结构,研究了其产生的双边衍射辐射.通过三维粒子模拟软件仿真,得到了光栅上下空间的电场空间分布,结合结构辐射布里渊图,证明了亚波长对称光栅上下半空间的衍射辐射场分布同样可以由Smith-Purcell辐射公式来解释,即主要有电子运动速度和光栅周期决定,并分别研究了缝隙宽度、光栅厚度对上下半空间衍射辐射的影响.为进一步研究下半空间的衍射辐射场,采用了非对称的光栅结构,研究表明非对称光栅下半空间衍射辐射场不仅取决于电子运动速度和结构下表面的周期,同时也与电子运动激励起的上半空间的辐射频率范围密切相关.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a three-resonant metamaterial with the combination of dual-resonant and single-resonant metamaterials. We present a new method to design multi-resonant metamaterial, which has a smaller dimension than general symmetric and asymmetric multi-resonant metamaterials. Theoretical and experimental results show that the structure has three distinct absorption frequencies centering around 0.29 THz, 0.46 THz, and 0.92 THz, and that each of them corresponds to a different resonant mode. Due to the good separation of the different resonances, this design provides a unique and effective method to construct multiband terahertz devices.  相似文献

In this Letter, we demonstrate a linear polarization conversion of transmitted terahertz wave with double-layer meta-grating surfaces, which integrated the frequency selectivity of a split ring resonator metasurface and the polarization selectivity of a metallic grating surface. Since the double-layer can reduce the loss, and the Fabry–Perot like resonant effect between the two layers can improve the conversion efficiency, this converter can rotate the incident y-polarized terahertz wave into an x-polarized transmitted wave with relatively low loss and high efficiency. Experimental results show that an average conversion efficiency exceeding 75% from 0.25 to 0.65 THz with the highest efficiency of 90% at 0.43 THz with only-2 dB loss has been achieved.  相似文献

周期加载波导中匀速带电粒子的衍射辐射是产生较高频段可调谐太赫兹电磁辐射(频率高于1 THz)的有效方法.对圆柱形周期加载波导中偏心电子注产生的衍射辐射现象,进行了严格的理论分析和粒子模拟验证.研究表明,偏心电子注在波导中除了激励起角向对称模(TM0波)以外,还将激励起角向模式为1(HE1波)和2(HE2波)的角向非对称模.并且电子注偏离轴线距离越大,激励的角向非对称模场强越强.每个模式的功率随电子注的激励位置呈变态贝塞尔函数平方关系变化,与电子注电流平方成正比.理论分析与计算机模拟的结果符合较好.研究结果将为发展该类可调谐太赫兹辐射源提供理论依据.  相似文献

基于回旋管线性理论,运用Laplace变换和留数定理的方法,在线性Vlasov-Maxwell方程组的框架下,研究了特殊三反射镜准光腔回旋管的动力学理论.导出了注-波互作用功率、频偏和起振电流公式,运用MATLAB进行了数值运算.结果表明,这种回旋管工作于高次谐波状况下能有较高的互作用功率,具有工作于太赫兹波段的潜力. 关键词: 三反射镜准光腔 太赫兹 回旋动力学理论  相似文献

The possibility of an electron beam exciting surface plasmons in conducting metal is discussed in this paper. A planar perfect-structure with subwavelength holes is proposed. The phenomenon that mimicking surface plasmon waves can be excited and amplified by an electron beam is proved theoretically and numerically. The mechanism of transmission through a subwavelength hole array is exploited to enhance the interaction between the electron beam and the mimicking surface plasmons.  相似文献

利用THz时域光谱技术(THz-TDS)探测了制作在SiO2/Si衬底上的(Pb,La)TiO3铁电薄膜的频谱响应,获得了三种不同烧结温度的掺镧钛酸铅(PLT)薄膜的THz频谱.根据实验数据计算得到了PLT薄膜在0.2~3 THz频段内的吸收系数、折射率和复介电常数,并对比了三种不同烧结温度的PLT薄膜的实验计算结果.实验结果表明,三种PLT薄膜在所测频段内均有较强吸收,且都在1.5 THz处有一个明显的吸收峰,在2.25 THz处有一个相对较弱的吸收峰.  相似文献

本文对一种基于场致发射阴极阵列(FEA)的太赫兹辐射源的物理机理进行了理论分析和粒子模拟验证. 采用场匹配法分析了器件的高频场结构, 确定π模作为器件的最优工作模式; 利用线性理论分 析了器件的注波互作用过程, 揭示了高频场对FEA阴极发射电流的预调制作用以及电子在阴阳极间隙的渡越时间效应 是器件起振的物理原因; 分析得出了π模起振条件; 粒子模拟结果与理论分析具有较好的一致性.  相似文献

With the aid of a three-dimensional particle-in-cell code simulation,the enhancement of Smith-Purcell radiation with a surface-plasmon mode excited by a single electron bunch and by a premodulated electron beam is considered in the paper.In the simulation,the model is a grating covered by Ag film.The results demonstrate that when the surface-plasmon mode is excited by a single electron bunch,the maximum radiation occurs at an observation angle depending on the surface-plasmon frequency,and the radiation power can be enhanced more than ten times.And for pre-bunched electron beam excitation,when one of the harmonics of the bunching frequency is resonant with that of the surface-plasmon mode,the radiation power is twenty times more than that from a perfectly conducting grating excited by the same premodulated electron beam.  相似文献
