This paper addresses two important issues that may affect the operations efficiency in the recycling industry. First, the industry contains many small-scale and inefficient recycling firms, especially in developing countries. Second, the output from recycling a waste product often yields multiple recycled products that cannot all be sold efficiently by a single firm. To address these two issues, this paper examines how different firms can cooperate in their recycling and pricing decisions using cooperative game theory. Recycling operations under both joint and individual productions with different cost structures are considered. Decisions include the quantity of waste product to recycle and the price at which to sell each recycled product on each firm’s market. These decisions can be made jointly by multiple cooperating firms to maximize total profit. We design allocation schemes for maximized total profit to encourage cooperation among all firms. Managerial insights are provided from both environmental and economic perspectives.  相似文献

This paper studies an integrated decision making model for a supply chain system where a manufacturer faces a price-sensitive demand and multiple capacitated suppliers, two issues that are often considered separately in the literature. The goal is to maximize total profit by determining an optimal selling price and at the same time acquiring enough supplying capacity. The problem is proved to be NP-hard in the ordinary sense, a heuristic algorithm and an optimal dynamic programming algorithm are developed. Computational experiments are conducted to study the efficiency and effectiveness of the algorithms. Some managerial insights are observed.  相似文献

We study a machine scheduling model in which job scheduling and machine maintenance activities have to be considered simultaneously. Understanding the impact of the defects/defect density of electrocatalysts on the activity in the triiodide (I3?) reduction reaction of dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) is indispensable for the design and construction of high‐efficiency counter electrodes (CEs). Active‐site‐enriched selenium‐doped graphene (SeG) was crafted by ball‐milling followed by high‐temperature annealing to yield abundant edge sites and fully activated basal planes. The density of defects within SeG can be tuned by adjusting the annealing temperature. The sample synthesized at an annealing temperature of 900 °C exhibited a superior response to the I3? reduction with a high conversion efficiency of 8.42 %, outperforming the Pt reference (7.88 %). Improved stability is also observed. DFT calculations showed the high catalytic activity of SeG over pure graphene is a result of the reduced ionization energy owing to incorporation of Se species, facilitating electron transfer at the electrode–electrolyte interface.  相似文献

Stable single-frequency and single-polarization distributed-feedback (DFB) fiber laser was realized by giving a pressure on the phase shift region of the fiber grating. The output wavelength of the DFB fiber laser is 1053 nm. When the pump power of 980 nm laser diode is 100 and 254 mW, the output power can reach 8.3 and 37.1 mW and the polarization extinction ratio was 26 and 20 dB, respectively. After chopped by Acousto-optic modulator (0.3 Hz), the pulse peak value variance is 4.65%(peak to peak) and 1.098% (RMS) for 31 min.  相似文献

Lead‐halide perovskites are well known to decompose rapidly when exposed to polar solvents, such as water. Contrary to this common‐place observation, we have found that through introducing a suitable minor amount of water into the reaction mixture, we can synthesize stable CsPbBr3 nanocrystals. The size and the crystallinity, and as a result the band gap tunability of the strongly emitting CsPbBr3 nanocrystals correlate with the water content. Suitable amounts of water change the crystallization environment, inducing the formation of differently shaped perovskites, namely spherical NCs, rectangular nanoplatelets, or nanowires. Bright CsPbBr3 nanocrystals with the photoluminescence quantum yield reaching 90 % were employed for fabrication of inverted hybrid inorganic/organic light‐emitting devices, with the peak luminance of 4428 cd m?2 and external quantum yield of 1.7 %.  相似文献

We take an order-centric approach to an incomplete-information version of the supermodular game (SG). In particular, we first introduce concepts related to ordered normal form games and the stochastic dominance order. Then, we work on a Bayesian SG, for which we show the existence of a monotone equilibrium and its monotonic trend as the player type distribution varies. Our results complement those that appeared in the Bayesian-SG literature.  相似文献

This paper develops an adverse selection model for a two-stage supply chain with one supplier, one retailer, and a potential outside entrant supplier who makes a partially substitutable product. The work is different from most research on entry deterrence that only considers a single-stage model. Our main interest is to investigate how the incumbent supplier can strategically maximize her profit by a wholesale pricing policy when facing the potential entrant. We focus on a model where the entrant supplier will sell her product through the same incumbent retailer. We derive the optimal decisions for each player and study the comparative statics of the equilibrium. To investigate how the supply chain structure may affect the deterrence strategy of the incumbent supplier, we also consider three alternative models with different channel structures, when both suppliers sell their products directly, when the entrant has another independent retailer, and when the entrant sells her product directly. Through the comparison, we find that the existence of the common downstream retailer often enhances the deterring motivation of the incumbent supplier.  相似文献

为了提高惯性约束聚变高功率激光系统的整体效率和充分利用光能,需要将高斯分布的光束整形为空间均匀分布的平顶光束。本文从球面透镜的琼斯矩阵出发,利用光学传输矩阵对双折射透镜组空间光束整形系统进行了理论分析,数值模拟了整形效果,讨论了透镜组参量的选择以及中心加工厚度误差等因素带来的影响,并对该系统进行了实验研究。在实验中,利用该双折射透镜组整型系统实现了光束的均匀化输出。在神光Ⅱ第九路中,在近场静态工作条件下,可将光束填充因子从原来的66%提高到80%。  相似文献
