Various catalytically active antibodies (Abs), or abzymes, have been detected recently in the sera of patients with autoimmune pathologies, in whom their presence is probably associated with autoimmunization. Normal humans are generally not considered to have abzymes, since no obvious immunizing factors are present. Here is shown by different methods that IgG from the milk of normal females possesses both DNase and RNase activities. The activities were also present in the IgG F(ab′)2 and Fab fragments. Affinity modification of IgG by the chemically reactive derivative of an oligonucleotide led to preferential modification of the L chain of IgG. After separation of the subunits by sodium dodecyl sulfate electrophoresis in a gel containing DNA, an in-gel assay showed DNase activity in the L chain. The L chain separated by affinity chromatography on DNA-cellulose was catalytically active. These findings speak in favor of the generation of cat alytic Abs by the immune system of healthy mothers. It is known that the treatment of adults with DNases and RNases offers protection from viral and bacterial diseases. Since breast milk protects the infants from infec tions until the immune system is developed, this raises the possibility that catalytic Abs like nucleases, may possess a protective role.  相似文献

Cu (II) complexes with the sterically hindered diphenol derivatives 3,5-di(tert-butyl)-1,2-benzenediol (I), 4,6-di(tert-butyl)-1,2,3-benzenetriol (II) and the sulfur-containing 4,6-di(tert-butyl)-3-(2-hydroxyethylsulfanyl)-1,2-benzenediol (III) and 2-[4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2,3-dihydroxyphenylsulfanyl]acetic acid (IV) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, TG/DTA, FT-IR, ESR, XPS, XPD and conductivity measurements. Compounds I–III can coordinate in their singly deprotonated forms and act as bidentate ligands. These compounds yield Cu (II) complexes of the stoichiometry Cu(L)2, which have square planar geometry (g| > g > ge). Unlike them, compound IV behaves as a terdentate ligand, and its complex Cu(LIV)2 has distorted octahedral geometry. According to ESR data, only the Cu(LII)2 complex contains a very small amount of phenoxyl radicals. Antimicrobial activities of these ligands and their respective Cu (II) complexes have been determined with respect to Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as on yeasts. Their phytotoxic properties against Chlorella vulgaris 157 were also examined.  相似文献

N-Aryl-N,N-diphenacylamine dioximes were prepared by the reaction of corresponding arylamines with α-bromoacetophenone oxime in ethanol-water at room temperature. These compounds reacted with aryl isocyanates in acetonitrile to give imidazooxadiazolones 9. The probable mechanism of the reaction is discussed.  相似文献

The structural evolution of an amorphous Fe80B20 alloy subjected to severe plastic deformation at room temperature or at 200°C was studied. Deformation leads to the formation of α-Fe nanocrystals in an amorphous phase. After room-temperature deformation, nanocrystals are localized in shear bands. After deformation at 200°C, the nanocrystal distribution over the alloy is more uniform. Possible causes of the crystallization of the amorphous phase during severe plastic deformation are discussed.  相似文献

In this study, biodiesel has been successfully produced by transesterification using non-catalytic supercritical methanol and methyl acetate. The variables studied, such as reaction time, reaction temperature and molar ratio of methanol or methyl acetate to oil, were optimised to obtain the optimum yield of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME). Subsequently, the results for both reactions were analysed and compared via Response Surface Methodology (RSM) analysis. The mathematical models for both reactions were found to be adequate to predict the optimum yield of biodiesel. The results from the optimisation studies showed that a yield of 89.4 % was achieved for the reaction with supercritical methanol within the reaction time of 27 min, reaction temperature of 358°C, and methanol-to-oil molar ratio of 44. For the reaction in the presence of supercritical methyl acetate, the optimum conditions were found to be: reaction time of 32 min, reaction temperature of 400°C, and methyl acetate-to-oil molar ratio of 50 to achieve 71.9 % biodiesel yield. The differences in the behaviour of methanol and methyl acetate in the transesterification reaction are largely due to the difference in reactivity and mutual solubility of Jatropha curcas oil and methanol/methyl acetate.  相似文献

We show, contrary to some published statements, that spectral synthesis does not generally hold for commutative semigroups that are not groups. On the positive side we prove that it holds if the semigroup is a monoid with no prime ideal. For semigroups with a prime ideal, the picture is not so clear. On the negative side we provide a variety of examples illustrating the failure of spectral synthesis for many semigroups with prime ideals, but we also give examples of semigroups with prime ideals on which spectral synthesis holds.

In this review, redox-induced reactions of π- and σ,π-complexes leading to the selective formation (or cleavage) of C–H, C–C, and C–O bonds have been summarized. To illustrate the synthetic potential of such methodology, the following representative reactions studied in our group are discussed: (1) oxidatively induced hydrogen elimination from “open” cyclic diene and dienyl complexes resulting in formation of “closed” dienyl and arene complexes, respectively; (2) reductive activation of C–H bonds in diene, vinylidene, and carbyne complexes forming new multiple C–C bonds; (3) oxidative dehydrodimerization of vinylidene complexes into binuclear μ-divinylidene species; and (4) oxidatively induced addition of oxygen nucleophiles to μ-divinylidene complexes affording cyclic μ-dicarbene derivatives. It is well-known that for a one dimensional stochastic differential equation driven by Brownian noise, with coefficient functions satisfying the assumptions of the Yamada–Watanabe theorem (Yamada and Watanabe, 1971, [31,32]) and the Feller test for explosions (Feller, 1951, 1954), there exists a unique stationary distribution with respect to the Markov semigroup of transition probabilities. We consider systems on a restricted domain D of the phase space R and study the rate of convergence to the stationary distribution. Using a geometrical approach that uses the so called free energy function on the density function space, we prove that the density functions, which are solutions of the Fokker–Planck equation, converge to the stationary density function exponentially under the Kullback–Leibler divergence, thus also in the total variation norm. The results show that there is a relation between the Bakry–Émery curvature dimension condition and the dissipativity condition of the transformed system under the Fisher–Lamperti transformation. Several applications are discussed, including the Cox–Ingersoll–Ross model and the Ait-Sahalia model in finance and the Wright–Fisher model in population genetics.  相似文献
