Surface oxygen functionalities (particularly C−O configuration) in carbon materials have negative influence on their electrical conductivity and Na+ storage performance. Herein, we propose a concept from surface chemistry to regulate the oxygen configuration in hierarchically porous carbon nanosheets (HPCNS). It is demonstrated that the C−O/C=O ratio in HPCNS reduces from 1.49 to 0.43 and its graphitization degree increases by increasing the carbonization temperature under a reduction atmosphere. Remarkably, such high graphitization degree and low C−O content of the HPCNS-800 are favorable for promoting its electron/ion transfer kinetics, thus endowing it with high-rate (323.6 mAh g−1 at 0.05 A g−1 and 138.5 mAh g−1 at 20.0 A g−1) and durable (96 % capacity retention over 5700 cycles at 10.0 A g−1) Na+ storage performance. This work permits the optimization of heteroatom configurations in carbon for superior Na+ storage.  相似文献

An efficient approach to NMR assignments in intrinsically disordered proteins is presented, making use of the good dispersion of cross peaks observed in [15N,13C′]‐ and [13C′,1HN]‐correlation spectra. The method involves the simultaneous collection of {3D (H)NCO(CAN)H and 3D (HACA)CON(CA)HA} spectra for backbone assignments via sequential HN and Hα correlations and {3D (H)NCO(CACS)HS and 3D (HS)CS(CA)CO(N)H} spectra for side‐chain 1H and 13C assignments, employing sequential 1H data acquisitions with direct detection of both the amide and aliphatic protons. The efficacy of the approach for obtaining resonance assignments with complete backbone and side‐chain chemical shifts is demonstrated experimentally for the 61‐residue [13C,15N]‐labelled peptide of a voltage‐gated potassium channel protein of the Kv1.4 channel subunit. The general applicability of the approach for the characterisation of moderately sized globular proteins is also demonstrated.  相似文献

This work focuses on the effect of electron beam irradiation on the physico‐mechanical, dynamic mechanical and dielectric properties of blends based on ethylene octene copolymer (EOC) and poly dimethyl siloxane (PDMS) rubber. It is found that electron beam irradiation caused considerable improvement in the physico‐mechanical properties; the tensile strength was enhanced by nearly 35% for 70:30 EOC:PDMS blend. Phase morphology of the blends analyzed before irradiation by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) exhibited droplet/matrix morphology with sizes of the PDMS rubber domain varying from 0.55 µm to 0.47 µm as the amount of PDMS rubber decreased from 30 wt% to 10 wt%. This reduction in the PDMS rubber domain has been correlated with the physico‐mechanical properties of the blends. Further, the dynamic mechanical properties and creep behavior of these EOC:PDMS blends before and after irradiation has been studied. It is inferred that the 70:30 blend after radiation crosslinking shows a 17% decrease in the creep compliance, i.e. higher creep resistance compared to neat blends. All the radiation crosslinked blends exhibited lower dielectric constant, lower dielectric loss and higher electrical resistivity as compared to the virgin blends which makes it suitable for cable insulating application. The study aimed to investigate the antibacterial activity of Mustard (Brassica juncea) and Moringa (Moringa oleifera) leaf extracts and coagulant protein for their potential application in water treatment. Bacterial cell aggregation and growth kinetics studies were employed for thirteen bacterial strains with different concentrations of leaf extracts and coagulant protein. Moringa oleifera leaf extract (MOS) and coagulant protein showed cell aggregation against ten bacterial strains, whereas leaf extract alone showed growth inhibition of five bacterial strains for up to 6 h and five bacterial strains for up to 3 h. Brassica juncea leaf extract (BJS) showed growth inhibition for up to 6 h, and three bacterial strains showed inhibition for up to 3 h. The highest inhibition concentration with 2.5 mg/mL was 19 mm, and furthermore, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) (0.5 mg/mL) and MBC (1.5 mg/mL) were determined to have a higher antibacterial effect for <3 KDa peptides. Based on LCMS analysis, napin was identified in both MOS and BJS; furthermore, the mode of action of napin peptide was determined on lipoprotein X complex (LpxC) and four-chained structured binding protein of bacterial type II topoisomerase (4PLB). The docking analysis has exhibited moderate to potent inhibition with a range of dock score −912.9 Kcal/mol. Thus, it possesses antibacterial-coagulant potential bioactive peptides present in the Moringa oleifera purified protein (MOP) and Brassica juncea purified protein (BJP) that could act as an effective antimicrobial agent to replace currently available antibiotics. The result implies that MOP and Brassica juncea purified coagulant (BJP) proteins may perform a wide degree of antibacterial functions against different pathogens.  相似文献

Silica is removed from fly ash sample by hydroflourination for its effective determination gravimetrically and the remaining residue is subjected to lithium tetraborate (Li2B4O7) fusion followed by dissolution in dilute nitric acid to obtain a clear solution in which elements including aluminum (Al), iron (Fe), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sodium (Na), potassium (K), titanium (Ti), vanadium (V), chromium (Cr), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn), have been determined by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (FAAS). Two fly ash samples analyzed by the proposed method have been received from the National Council of Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM), India (proposed CRM in future) and fly ash CRM 1633 (b) from NIST, USA. The validity of the method has been established by analyzing fly ash CRM 1633 (b) as reference standard. The standard deviation has been calculated for each measurement.  相似文献

Three‐ and five‐membered rings that bear the (Si‐C‐S ) and (Si‐C‐C‐C‐S ) unit have been synthesized by the reactions of L SiCl ( 1 ; L =PhC(NtBu)2) and L′ Si ( 2 ; L′ =CH{(C?CH2)(CMe)(2,6‐iPr2C6H3N)2}) with the thioketone 4,4′‐bis(dimethylamino)thiobenzophenone. Treatment of 4,4′‐bis(dimethylamino)thiobenzophenone with L SiCl at room temperature furnished the [1+2]‐cycloaddition product silathiacyclopropane 3 . However, reaction of 4,4′‐bis(dimethylamino)thiobenzophenone with L′ Si at low temperature afforded a [1+4]‐cycloaddition to yield the five‐membered ring product 4 . Compounds 3 and 4 were characterized by NMR spectroscopy, EIMS, and elemental analysis. The molecular structures of 3 and 4 were unambiguously established by single‐crystal X‐ray structural analysis. The room‐temperature reaction of 4,4′‐bis(dimethylamino)thiobenzophenone with L′ Si resulted in products 4 and 5 , in which 4 is the dearomatized product and 5 is formed under the 1,3‐migration of a hydrogen atom from the aromatic phenyl ring to the carbon atom of the C? S unit. Furthermore, the optimized structures of probable products were investigated by using DFT calculations.  相似文献

Preparation of a series of cis-γ-fluorophenyl-β-phenyl-α-methylene-γ-butyrolactones is reported via ‘allylboration’ of fluorobenzaldehydes with (E)-methyl 3-phenyl-2-((4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)methyl)acrylate. The corresponding trans-γ-fluorophenyl lactones were prepared either (i) via ‘allylboration’ using the (Z)-reagents or (ii) via an indium triflate-mediated isomerization of the cis-products. The difficulty in isomerizing difluorinated cis-products confirms the probable intermediacy of carbocations. Finally, the synthesis of cis-β-fluorophenyl-γ-phenyl-α-methylene-γ-butyrolactones was achieved via an indium-catalyzed allylation–lactonization of aldehydes with (Z)-2-(bromomethyl)-3-(fluorophenyl)acrylates.  相似文献
