Well-defined poly[styrene(S)-b-isoprene(I)] diblock copolymers were prepared by sequential anionic addition. The crosslinking reactions of polyisoprene (PI) spherical domains of these block copolymers were carried out in a n-hexane solution of sulfur monochloride (S2Cl2). Electron micrograph of crosslinked products indicates the structure of core-shell type polymer microspheres. It is found from NMR and turbi+imetric measurements that the solubility of core-shell type polymer microspheres depends strongly on that of block chains comprising the shell portion. The particle size of these microspheres shows a narrow distribution.  相似文献

Photoactive allyl ammonium salt (BPEA) containing benzophenone moiety in the structure was synthesized and characterized. Its capability to act as a self-initiating addition fragmentation agent in the photoinitiated cationic polymerization of oxiranes such as cyclohexene oxide and vinyl monomers such as butylvinyl ether was investigated. These monomers turned out to be polymerizable in the presence of BPEA provided free radicals are generated photochemically at λ>300 nm by hydrogen abstraction of excited benzophenone moiety. Accordingly, a free radical adds to the carbon-carbon double bond of a ground state BPEA and fragmentation of the adduct radical results in the formation of reactive ammonium radical cation which is essentially responsible for the initiation.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] A polymer-supported catalyst for Huisgen's [3+2] cycloaddition reaction between azides and alkynes was prepared from copper(I) iodide and Amberlyst A-21. This catalyst was then used in an automated synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles giving access to these products in good yields. The catalyst has shown good activity, stability, and recycling capabilities.  相似文献

Dendritic 2‐ and 4‐arm PMMA‐based star polymers with furan‐protected maleimide at their focal point, (PMMA)2n‐MI and (PMMA)4n‐MI were efficiently clicked with the peripheral anthracene functionalized multiarm star polymer, (α‐anthryl functionalized‐polystyrene)m‐poly(divinyl benzene) ((α‐anthryl‐PS)m‐polyDVB) through the Diels–Alder reaction resulting in corresponding multiarm star block copolymers: (PMMA)2n‐(PS)m‐polyDVB and (PMMA)4n‐(PS)m‐polyDVB, respectively. Molecular weights (Mw,TDGPC), hydrodynamic radius (Rh), and intrinsic viscosity (η) of the multiarm star polymers were determined using three‐detection GPC (TD‐GPC). The high efficiency of this methodology to obtain such sterically demanding macromolecular constructs was deduced using 1H‐NMR and UV–vis spectroscopy. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Micro-perforated sound absorbers with sub-millimeter size holes can provide high absorption coefficients. This paper presents results of work on the development of an effective single layer micro-perforated sound absorber from the commercial composite material Parabeam® with micro diameter holes drilled on one side. Parabeam® is used as a structural material made from a fabric woven out of a E-glass yarn and consists of two decklayers bonded together by vertical piles in a sandwich structure with piles (thick fibers) woven into the decklayers. The paper includes, the analytical model developed for prediction of absorption coefficients, finite element solution using commercial software MSC.ACTRAN and experimental results obtained from impedance tube measurements. A simple optimization is performed based on the developed models to obtain an efficient absorber configuration. It has been anticipated that several different and interesting applications can be deduced by combining structural and sound absorption properties of this new micro-perforated absorber.  相似文献
