Nanosize aluminum substituted nickel zinc ferrites were prepared through aerosol route and characterized using TEM, XRD, magnetic measurements and Mössbauer spectroscopy. The particle size of as obtained samples was found to be ∼10 nm which increases up to ∼85 nm upon annealing at 1200 °C. The unit cell parameter ‘a’ decreases linearly with concentration of aluminum due to the small ionic radius of aluminum. The saturation magnetization for all the samples after annealing at 1200 °C lies in the range 12.9–72.6 emu/g and decreases linearly with concentration of aluminum. Room temperature Mössbauer spectra of all as obtained samples of ferrite compositions exhibited a broad doublet suggesting super paramagnetic nature. This doublet is further resolved into two doublets and assigned to the surface region and internal region atoms of the particles. The samples annealed at 1200 °C show broad sextets, which were fitted with five sextets, indicating different local environment of both tetrahedrally and octahedrally coordinated Fe cation. 相似文献

Treatment of 2-pivaloyl-1,3-indandione with hydroxylamine leads to the formation of a pair of isomeric indenoisoxazoles, the product formed dependent upon the cyclization conditions. Under acidic conditions, 8-t-butylindeno[1,2-c]isoxazol-7-one ( 5 ) is formed while under neutral or basic conditions, an oxime, 2 , is generated which may then be cyclized under acidic conditions to give 3-t-butylindeno[1,2-c]isoxazol-4-one ( 4 ). Although these isomeric indenoisoxazoles may be discriminated by chemical means, we were interested in developing an unequivocal method for distinguishing these and potentially other isomeric pairs by spectroscopic means. A 13C-nmr based method for the discrimination of these isomers which is based on the utilization of chemical shift arguments and spin-lattice relaxation data is thus presented. 相似文献

Summary The formation of violet coloured chelate of indium with Gallion has been studied. Indium forms only one chelate with Gallion at pH 4.5 having
max 610 nm. The composition of the complex formed has been determined by various methods and is found to be 11 (MR). The values of stability constant have been calculated by three methods and the average value of logK obtained is 5.6 ± 0.1. A procedure for the spectrophotometric determination of indium has been suggested.
Zusammenfassung Die Bildung eines violetten Chelates von Indium mit dem Reagens Gallion wurde studiert. In bildet damit ein einziges Chelat bei pH=4,5 und max=610 nm. Die Zusammensetzung des entstandenen Komplexes wurde nach verschiedenen Methoden ermittelt und gleich 11 (MetallReagens) gefunden. DSC measurements in air from 20 to 800° are reported on aged iron(III)-chromium(III) coprecipitated hydroxides (with Fe3+Cr3+ wt% ratios of 91, 73, 11, 37 and 19). A comparison of the DSC profiles of aged coprecipitates with the thermal behaviour of freshly precipitated and well characterized samples provided information on the modification occurring in the structure and reactivity of the coprecipitates on prolonged aging.

Zusammenfassung Es werden DSC-Messungen an gealterten kogefällten Eisen(III)Chrom(III)-hydroxiden (mit Fe3+Cr3+ Gewichtsanteilen von 91, 73, 11, 37 und 19) im Temperaturbereich von 20 bis 800° beschrieben. Ein Vergleich der DSC-Profile von gealterten Kofällungen mit dem thermischen Verhalten frisch gefällter und gut definierbarer Proben lieferte Informationen über die Veränderungen in Struktur und Reaktivität der Koniederschläge bei längerem Altern.

A series of fifteen complexes of the type [Fe(RRNCS2)3] with symmetric (R=R=n- C6H13, n-C8H17, CH2–CH=;CH2, C6H5, C6H11 and C6H5CH2), unsymmetric (R = CH3; R = n-C4H9, C6H11, C6H5 and R = C2H5; R = n-C4H9, C6H11, C6H5 and i-C3H7) and ring substituents (RNR=pyrrolidyl and piperidyl) have been synthesized and their magnetic moments and Mössbauer spectra recorded from room temperature (RT) to liquid nitrogen temperature (LNT). Room temperature Mössbauer spectra of all the complexes exhibit an asymmetric doublet, which could be resolved into two doublets, each corresponding to low and high spin states in equilibrium. The crystal structure of tris(N, N-diallyldithiocarbamato)iron(III) shows it to be monoclinic with trigonally distorted octahedral geometry and space group C2/c. Fe–S stretching vibrations in the far i.r. region also show equilibria, HS LS. Depending on the nature of the alkyl group substituent, variable temperature magnetic moment and Mössbauer spectral studies, all the complexes may be divided into three groups; high spin complexes exhibiting spin-crossover (6A1g 2T2g), high spin complexes exhibiting spin transition (6A1g 4T1g) and intermediate spin complexes showing spin transition (4A1g 2T2g). On the basis of areas of the two doublets corresponding to high and low spin states, their percent contributions were calculated. Furthermore, magnetic moments of the equilibrium mixture calculated on the basis of respective areas compare well with the experimentally determined eff values. Summary A series of new five-coordinate complexes of cobalt(II) of the type, dihalotris-(2-substituted imidazole)cobalt(II), of formulae Co(2-MeIm)3Cl2, Co(2-EtIm)3X2 (X = Cl, Br, I) and Co(2-i-PrIm)3I2, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, electrolytic conductivity, diffuse reflectance as well as by solution spectra, i.r. and far i.r. spectra, x-ray powder pattern and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The mass spectra of the complexes did not exhibit peaks due to the molecular ions, but only showed the ligand fragmentation patterns. Summary Pseudohalide complexes of the (-cpL)TiXZ type (where cp = cyclopentadienyl, L = -McCs5-H4 and X = N3, NCS, NCO or NCSe) have been prepared in aqueous and nonaqueous media and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r. and n.m.r. spectroscopy.
