A new phenylalkanoid, (E)-3-hydroxy-1-(4'-dihydroxy-3',5'-dimethoxy-phenyl)-dodecan-6-en-5-one (1) was isolated from the rhizomes of Chinese ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe (Zingiberaceae)). The structure of this new phenylalkanoid was elucidated by chemical and physical evidences.  相似文献

In view of loss prevention and hazard control, traditional engineers use adsorbents to adsorb volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the semiconductor, photonics, and petrochemical industries. To save funds and promote green energy application, industries usually apply a zeolite processing desorption step under high temperature in the zeolite rotor-wheel system. Many thermal runaway accidents and flame incidents have occurred in the desorption step. Zeolite has been used to adsorb VOCs and applied in the processing desorption step in a reactor without considering oxygen concentration situation, which could easily lead to a flame followed by thermal explosion. Nitrogen is a critically important purge gas regarding passive action for avoiding an accident. Home-made zeolite was investigated for the best manufacturing ratio, which was 20. Brunauer–Emmett–Teller of zeolite (Si/Al = 20) was analyzed to be 400 m2 g?1, which is easy for adsorbing pollutants. According to our previous studies, home-made zeolite has prominent adsorption capacities on VOCs. Zeolite rotor-wheel system was developed to desorb the pollutants of interest. Zeolite was applied to analyze the thermal stability, runaway reaction under various oxygen concentrations, reuse rates, etc. Zeolite is a thermally stable material under room temperature to 650 °C. An endothermic reaction (30–100 °C) of home-made zeolite was analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analyzer. Clearly, water has a significant effect on deteriorating for the zeolite adsorption. Home-made zeolite is a suitable adsorbent and catalyst in the petrochemical and environmental industries. As far as pollution control and loss prevention are concerned, versatility in the analysis of recycled adsorbents is required and is useful for various industrial applications.  相似文献

Plenty of thermal explosions and runaway reactions of cumene hydroperoxide (CHP) were described from 1981 to 2010 in Taiwan. Therefore, a thermal explosion accident of CHP in oxidation tower in 2010 in Taiwan was investigated because of piping breakage. In general, high concentration of CHP for thermal analysis using the calorimeter is dangerous. Therefore, a simulation method and a kinetic parameter were used to simulate thermal hazard of high concentrations of CHP only by the researcher. This study was applied to evaluate thermal hazard and to analyze storage parameters of 80 and 88 mass% CHP using three calorimeters for the oxidation tower, transportation, and 50-gallon drum. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) (a non-isothermal calorimeter), thermal activity monitor III (TAM III) (an isothermal calorimeter), and vent sizing package 2 (VSP2) (an adiabatic calorimeter) were employed to detect the exothermic behavior and runaway reaction model of 80 and 88 mass% CHP. Exothermic onset temperature (T 0), heat of decomposition (ΔH d), maximum temperature (T max), time to maximum rate under isothermal condition (TMRiso) (as an emergency response time), maximum pressure (P max), maximum of self-heating rate ((dT/dt)max), maximum of pressure rise rate ((dP/dt)max), half-life time (t 1/2), reaction order (n), activation energy (E a), frequency factor (A), etc., of 80 and 88 mass% CHP were applied to prevent thermal explosion and runaway reaction accident and to calculate the critical temperature (T c). Experimental results displayed that the n of 80 and 88 mass% CHP was determined to be 0.5 and the E a of 80 and 88 mass% CHP were evaluated to be 132 and 134 kJ mol?1, respectively.  相似文献

A novel homosesquiterpenoid, burmanol (1), along with 16 known compounds, including one triterpenoid, one quinol, two chlorophylls, two coumarins, two steroids, three lignans and five benzenoids were obtained from the stems of Cinnamomum burmanii (Lauraceae). A new horn with high displacement amplification for ultrasonic welding is developed. The profile of the horn is a nonrational B-spline curve with an open uniform knot vector. The ultrasonic actuation of the horn exploits the first longitudinal displacement mode of the horn. The horn is designed by an optimization scheme and finite element analyses. Performances of the proposed horn have been evaluated by experiments. The displacement amplification of the proposed horn is 41.4% and 8.6% higher than that of the traditional catenoidal horn and a Bézier-profile horn, respectively, with the same length and end surface diameters. The developed horn has a lower displacement amplification than the nonuniform rational B-spline profiled horn but a much smoother stress distribution. The developed horn, the catenoidal horn, and the Bézier horn are fabricated and used for ultrasonic welding of lap-shear specimens. The bonding strength of the joints welded by the open uniform nonrational B-spline (OUNBS) horn is the highest among the three horns for the various welding parameters considered. The locations of the failure mode and the distribution of the voids of the specimens are investigated to explain the reason of the high bonding strength achieved by the OUNBS horn.  相似文献
