We have developed a simple method for the chemoselective aromatization of tetrahydro-β-carboline with selective nondeallylation O-allyl groups in the presence of iodine (100 mol %) in dimethyl sulfoxide/H2O2. A convergent approach toward the oxidative aromatization with selective deallylation (deprotection) of O-allyl-tetrahydro-β-carboline using iodine in dimethyl sulfoxide/HCl has been described. The present protocol contains cheap catalyst, easy work up, normal reaction conditions, and high selectivity.  相似文献

The dependence of optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) and thermoluminescence (TL) response due to crystal phase in Cu and Cu,Mg-doped Na2SO4 was studied. Study shows that the slowly cooled samples which crystallize in phase V show good OSL sensitivity whereas the quenched samples of Na2SO4 which crystallize in phase III irrespective of doping show no OSL sensitivity. However, during storage when phase III samples get converted to phase V, samples show OSL sensitivity comparable to freshly prepared samples in phase V. Hence, it is observed that TL–OSL properties of doped Na2SO4 are phase dependent .This study will be helpful in developing OSL phosphors in which phase plays an important role in deciding the desired properties.  相似文献

This overview provides insights into the current state‐of‐the‐art solutions to insertion copolymerization of functional olefinic monomers. The challenges in insertion copolymerization of functional olefinic monomers, with a special emphasis on vinyl halides, are highlighted. The crucial design of the Pd–phosphinesulfonate [Pd(PO)] enables up to 3.6 mol % incorporation of vinyl fluoride (VF) in an ethylene–VF copolymerization reaction. In a significant development, insertion copolymerization of industrially relevant functional olefin, that is, vinyl chloride (VC), was unambiguously ascertained, and a detectable amount of VC (0.4 mol %) was incorporated (at the chain end). In a detailed investigation, the in situ existence of (PO)Pd? H species during the polymerization was revealed, and it was demonstrated that these are indeed responsible for VC incorporation. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Evanescent wave configuration has been extensively used in the development of fiber-optic sensor for different biomedical applications. In the present investigation we have theoretically proposed the designing of single-mode and multimode optical fiber sensing probes, which can be prepared by removing a few centimeters of cladding near the distal end of the step index optical fiber. In this theoretical study, we found that the removal of cladding causes V-number mismatching and this has led to the loss of signal acquisition from the sensing region. Therefore, to minimize these losses we have proposed to reduce the radius by step etch and tapering technique. It was found that step etching and tapering enhances the strength and penetration depth of the evanescent wave significantly.  相似文献
