NOx mitigation is a central focus of combustion technologies with increasingly stringent emission regulations. NOx can also enhance the autoignition of hydrocarbon fuels and can promote soot oxidation. The reaction between allyl radical (C3H5) and NOx plays an important role in the oxidation kinetics of propene. In this work, we measured the absolute rate coefficients for the redox reaction between C3H5 and NOx over the temperature range of 1000–1252 K and pressure range of 1.5–5.0 bar using a shock tube and UV laser absorption technique. We produced C3H5 by shock heating of C3H5I behind reflected shock waves. Using a Ti:Sapphire laser system with frequency quadrupling, we monitored the kinetics of C3H5 at 220 nm. Unlike low-temperature chemistry, the two target reactions, C3H5 + NO → products (R1) and C3H5 + NO2 → products (R2), exhibited a strong positive temperature dependence for this radical-radical type reaction. However, these reactions did not show any pressure dependence over the pressure range of 1.5–5.0 bar, indicating that the measured rate coefficients are close to the high-pressure limit. The measured values of the rate coefficients resulted in the following Arrhenius expressions (in unit of cm3/molecule/s):k1(C3H5+NO)=1.49×10?10exp(?6083.6KT)(1017?1252K)k2(C3H5+NO2)=1.71×10?10exp(?3675.7KT)(1062?1250K)To our knowledge, these are the first high-temperature measurements of allyl + NOx reactions. The reported data will be highly useful in understanding the interaction of NOx with resonantly stabilized radicals as well as the mutual sensitization effect of NOx on hydrocarbon fuels.  相似文献

We present two modified versions of the primal-dual splitting algorithm relying on forward–backward splitting proposed in V\(\tilde{\mathrm{u}}\) (Adv Comput Math 38(3):667–681, 2013) for solving monotone inclusion problems. Under strong monotonicity assumptions for some of the operators involved we obtain for the sequences of iterates that approach the solution orders of convergence of \(\mathcal{{O}}(\frac{1}{n})\) and \(\mathcal{{O}}(\omega ^n)\), for \(\omega \in (0,1)\), respectively. The investigated primal-dual algorithms are fully decomposable, in the sense that the operators are processed individually at each iteration. We also discuss the modified algorithms in the context of convex optimization problems and present numerical experiments in image processing and pattern recognition in cluster analysis.  相似文献

Damage caused by oxidative stress is involved in many types of diseases, including breast cancer. Our aim was to detect the oxidative stress parameters and blood plasma changes with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in breast cancer patients. The study included 40 adult breast cancer women who were grouped according to tumor diameter, regional lymph node metastases, proliferative activity, receptor status and postoperative chemotherapy. To monitor oxidative stress, malondialdehyde, oxygen free radicals (OFRs), activity of myeloperoxidase (MPO), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) were measured. Denaturation of plasma components was detected in Setaram Micro DSC-II calorimeter. The total production of OFRs, the MPO activity and lipidperoxidation were significantly increased in each breast cancer patients considering the tumor size, the metastatic lymph nodes, the proliferation activity and receptor status compared with healthy controls (p < 0.05). These pro-oxidants were slightly elevated without chemotherapy, but their values were increased significantly in chemotherapy-receiving group. The activity of SOD and CAT was significantly decreased in all groups, and in regard to the chemotherapy, they were changed significantly parallel to the severity of disease. Regarding to both the increased tumor diameter and the increased number of affected lymph nodes, DSC measurements showed a strong relationship between the maximum excess heat capacity (Cpmax) of the blood plasma and the severity of disease. The study demonstrated that oxidative stress is implicated in breast carcinoma and chemotherapy aggravates these changes which confirmed the plasma DSC measurements also.  相似文献

We investigate the convergence rates of the trajectories generated by implicit first and second-order dynamical systems associated to the determination of the zeros of the sum of a maximally monotone operator and a monotone and Lipschitz continuous one in a real Hilbert space. We show that these trajectories strongly converge with exponential rate to a zero of the sum, provided the latter is strongly monotone. We derive from here convergence rates for the trajectories generated by dynamical systems associated to the minimization of the sum of a proper, convex and lower semicontinuous function with a smooth convex one provided the objective function fulfills a strong convexity assumption. In the particular case of minimizing a smooth and strongly convex function, we prove that its values converge along the trajectory to its minimum value with exponential rate, too.  相似文献

An explicit solution of the spectral problem of the non-local Schrödinger operator obtained as the sum of the square root of the Laplacian and a quartic potential in one dimension is presented. The eigenvalues are obtained as zeroes of special functions related to the fourth order Airy function, and closed formulae for the Fourier transform of the eigenfunctions are derived. These representations allow to derive further spectral properties such as estimates of spectral gaps, heat trace and the asymptotic distribution of eigenvalues, as well as a detailed analysis of the eigenfunctions. A subtle spectral effect is observed which manifests in an exponentially tight approximation of the spectrum by the zeroes of the dominating term in the Fourier representation of the eigenfunctions and its derivative.  相似文献

Spatial structures break their symmetry under the influence of shear stress arising from fluid flow. Here, we present surface instabilities appearing on chitosan tubes when an acidic solution of chitosan with various molecular weight is injected into a pool of sodium hydroxide solution. At slow flow rates wrinkle-to-fold transition takes place along the direction of the flow yielding a banded structure. For greater injection rates we observe coexisting modes of wrinkles and folds which are stabilized to periodic wrinkles when the alkaline concentration is increased. The instabilities are characterized by the scaling laws of the pattern wavelength and amplitude with the tube characteristics. Our experimental adaptation of mechanical instabilities provides a new in situ method to create soft biomaterials with the desired surface morphology without the use of any prefabricated templates.  相似文献
