The synthesis and X-ray structure of a new manganese(V) mesitylimido complex with a tetraamido macrocyclic ligand (TAML), [MnV(TAML)(N-Mes)] ( 1 ), are reported. Compound 1 is oxidized by [(p-BrC6H4)3N ]+.[SbCl6] and the resulting MnVI species readily undergoes H-atom transfer and nitrene transfer reactions.  相似文献

The n‐butylphosphonate ligand has been employed to construct three new silver(I) thiolate compounds. Single‐crystal X‐ray analysis revealed that complexes 1 and 2 are Ag48 and Ag51 coordination chain polymers, while 3 contains a discrete Ag48 cluster, in which three different kinds of silver(I) thiolate cluster shells enclose three different phosphonate‐functionalized silver(I) cluster cores, respectively. The structures of clusters in 1 – 3 feature three three‐shell arrangements, S@Ag12@(nBuPO3)9@Ag36S23, S@Ag11@(nBuPO3)7(MoO4)2 @Ag40S27 and MoO4@Ag12@(nBuPO3)8S6 @Ag36S24, respectively.  相似文献

Well over a hundred years ago, Professor Julius Bredt embarked on a career pursuing and critiquing bridged bicyclic systems that contained ring strain induced by the presence of a bridgehead olefin. These endeavors founded what we now know as Bredt’s rule (Bredtsche Regel). Physical, theoretical, and synthetic organic chemists have intensely studied this premise, pushing the boundaries of such systems to arrive at a better understood physical phenomenon. Mother nature has also seen fit to construct molecules containing bridgehead double bonds that encompass Bredt’s rule. For the first time, this topic is reviewed in a natural product context.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to investigate antimicrobial mechanisms of a new catalytic material (charge transfer auto oxidation–reduction type catalyst, CT catalyst) that may have great potential for application in water/wastewater treatment. Generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in bacteria-free solution, induction of ROS and oxidative damage in bacteria (including E. coli and S. aureus) were examined for the CT catalyst. The results showed that significantly higher (p < 0.05, via t-test) amount of hydroxyl radicals was generated by the CT catalyst compared with the control, particularly after 6 h of contact time that more than twice of the amount of the control was produced. The generation of ROS in the bacteria was greater under higher pH and temperature levels, which closely related with the oxidative damage in cells. The results indicated that CT catalyst induced oxidative damage in the bacteria might serve as an important mechanism interpreting the anti-microbial function of the CT catalyst.  相似文献

Although carbazole‐containing copolymers are frequently used as hole‐transporting host materials for polymer organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs), they often suffer from the formation of undesired exciplexes when the OLED is operated. The reason why exciplexes sometimes form for electrical excitation, yet not for optical excitation is not well understood. Here, we use luminescence measurements and quantum chemical calculations to investigate the mechanism of such exciplex formation for electrical excitation (electroplex formation) in a carbazole–pyridine copolymer. Our results suggest that the exciplex is formed via a positively charged interchain precursor complex. This complex is stabilized by interactions that involve the nitrogen lone pairs on both chain segments. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part B: Polym Phys, 2012  相似文献

The chiral monoaza-15-crown-5 lariat ethers annellated to methyl-4,6-O-benzylidene-α-d-glucopyranoside-1 or mannopyranoside 2 have been applied as phase-transfer catalysts in the epoxidation of substituted chalcones and chalcone analogues with tert-butylhydroperoxide resulting in significant asymmetric induction. It was found that the position of the substituents in the aromatic ring of the chalcone had an influence both on the chemical yields and enantiomeric excesses. The lowest enantioselectivities (62–83% ee) were found in the case of ortho-substituted model compounds. The highest ee values (ee of 83–97%) were obtained in the case of para-substituted models. From among the chalcone analogues, the maximum ee (90–92%) was detected for the model compound having α-tert-butyl- and β-aryl groups. Using glucose-based crown ether 1, formation of the (?)-enantiomer was preferred, while applying mannose-based 2 as the catalyst, the (+)-enantiomer was in excess.  相似文献

Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction of a series of ten crystalline silver(I)–trifluoroacetate complexes that contained designed ligands, each of which was composed of an aromatic system that was functionalized with terminal and internal ethynyl groups and a vinyl substituent, provided detailed information on the influence of ligand disposition and orientation, coordination preferences, and the co‐existence of different types of silver(I)–carbon bonding interactions (silver–ethynide, silver–ethynyl, silver–ethenyl, and silver–aromatic) on the construction of coordination networks that were consolidated by argentophilic and weak inter/intramolecular interactions. The complex Ag L10? 6 AgCF3CO2 ? H2O ? MeOH ( HL10 =1‐{[4‐(prop‐2‐ynyloxy)‐3‐vinylphenyl]ethynyl}naphthalene) is the first reported example that exhibits all four kinds of silver(I)–carbon bonding interactions in the solid state.  相似文献

A systematic procedure for developing speed correction factor to adjust measured tyre/road noise is proposed in this paper. The draft ISO/CD 11819-2 on the Close-Proximity method to measure tyre/road noise stipulates that speed correction is needed to convert the tyre/road noise level at the sampling speeds to that at the reference speeds. However, the ISO standard does not mention the exact methodology for developing the speed correction factor development, although it recommends local authorities to develop their own. In this study, the tyre/road noise and speed data over 59 runs on a high speed porous asphalt surface is recorded by our CPX trailer in Hong Kong. The instantaneous noise and speed data are then analysed using this proposed procedure and the set of speed correction factor developed is found to be more stable and repeatable.  相似文献
