Abstract

The insertion of 1CH2, 1CHF, 1CF2,1CHCl, and 1CCl2 into primary and secondary polar S?H bonds of methanethiol, ethanethiol, 1-propanethiol, and 2-propanethiol have been investigated at HF (Hartree–Fock), MP2 (Møller–Plesset Perturbation Theory), and DFT (density functional theory) levels using 6-31G (d, p) basis set. The insertions follow a two-step mechanism. The potential energy surface exploration identifies ylide-like structures undergoing the 1,2-sigmatropic hydrogen shift concertedly giving the thioether product. But 1CF2 forms weak complexes involving 1,2-hydrogen shift. The barrier height in the concerted mechanism varies with the type of carbene moiety and S?H bond. The initial interaction seems to be a function of HOMO (highest occupied molecular orbital) and LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) energies of thiols and carbenes, respectively. The natural bond orbital charge analysis showing a net charge flow from the substrate thiol to the reagent carbene at the transition states corroborates this fact.  相似文献

This paper aims at introducing an automated approach to leukocyte recognition using fuzzy divergence and modified thresholding techniques. The recognition is done through the segmentation of nuclei where Gamma, Gaussian and Cauchy type of fuzzy membership functions are studied for the image pixels. It is in fact found that Cauchy leads better segmentation as compared to others. In addition, image thresholding is modified for better recognition. Results are studied and discussed.  相似文献

Cucurbit[7]uril (CB[7]), an uncharged and water‐soluble macrocyclic host, binds protonated amino saccharides (D ‐glucosamine, D ‐galactosamine, D ‐mannosamine and 6‐amino‐6‐deoxy‐D ‐glucose) with excellent affinity (Ka=103 to 104 M ?1). The host–guest complexation was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy, isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), and MALDI‐TOF mass spectral analyses. NMR analyses revealed that the amino saccharides, except D ‐mannosamine, are bound as α‐anomers within the CB[7] cavity. ITC analyses reveal that CB[7] has excellent affinity for binding amino saccharides in water. The maximum affinity was observed for D ‐galactosamine hydrochloride (Ka=1.6×104 M ?1). Such a strong affinity for any saccharide in water using a synthetic receptor is unprecedented, as is the supramolecular stabilization of an α‐anomer by the host.  相似文献

The metathetical reactions between SnBr4 and Li2[E'C(PPh2E)2] in toluene produce the homoleptic tin(IV) complexes Sn[E′C(PPh2E)2]2 [E = E′ = S ( 1b ); E = S, E′ = Se ( 1c )], which were isolated as red crystals and structurally characterized by X‐ray crystallography. The metrical parameters of these octahedral complexes are compared with those of the all‐selenium analog Sn[E′C(PPh2E)2]2 (E = E′ = Se, 1a ), which was prepared previously by a different route.  相似文献

Cu-TiO2 nanocomposites were prepared by electrodeposition method onto copper substrate using an acid copper plating bath containing dispersed nanosized TiO2. The composition of codeposited TiO2 nanoparticles in the composite coatings was controlled by the addition of different concentrations of TiO2 nanoparticles in the bath solution. The average crystallite size was calculated by using X-ray diffraction analysis and it was ~32 nm for electrodeposited copper and ~33 nm for Cu-TiO2 composite coatings. The crystallite structure was fcc for electrodeposited copper and Cu-TiO2 nanocomposite coatings. The surface morphology and composition of the nanocomposites were examined by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis. The effect of TiO2 content on the corrosion and wear resistance properties of the nanocomposite coatings was also presented. The codeposited TiO2 nanoparticles in the deposit increased the corrosion and wear resistance, which were closely related with TiO2 content in the nanocomposites. The wear resistance and microhardness of the Cu-TiO2 nanocomposite coatings were higher than electrodeposited copper. The corrosion resistance property of the electrodeposited copper and Cu-TiO2 nanocomposite coatings was evaluated by electrochemical impedance and Tafel polarization studies. Cu-TiO2 composite coatings were more corrosion resistant than electrodeposited copper.  相似文献

The uptake behavior of long-lived radionuclides such as 134Cs (2.06 years), 137Cs (30 years) or 133Ba (10.54 years) on calcium alginate (CA) beads have been investigated. The CA beads are able to remove 133Ba (92%) at pH 7 after 90 min of exposure from the binary mixture of two. The separation method of short-lived daughter 137Ba (2.55 min) from its long-lived parent 137Cs (30 years) using this CA beads have also been developed.  相似文献
