飞秒激光烧蚀石英玻璃的实验与理论研究

实验研究了800nm飞秒激光作用下石英玻璃的破坏机理和烧蚀规律，给出了破坏阈值与脉冲宽度的关系.发展了雪崩击穿模型，计算了材料的烧蚀阈值与脉冲宽度的依赖关系，烧蚀深度、烧蚀体积与脉冲能量的依赖关系，研究了导带电子的扩散对材料中激光能量的沉积、分布，以及材料的破坏阈值和烧蚀规律的影响. 关键词： 飞秒激光脉冲 破坏机理 石英玻璃 电子扩散     

THOMSON SCATTERING MEASUREMENT OF LASER-HEATED PLASMAS

Experiment on characterizing the laser-heated plasmas using Thomson scattering measurement has been carried out. An incoherent Thomson scattering system with a 90° scattering angle has been established. The influence of the gas density and the pumping laser energy on the temperature of the laser-heated plasma has been examined. The results show that the temperature of the laser-heated plasma increases with the increase of pumping laser energy and the plasma density, which agrees well with the explanation of inverse Bremsstrahlung absorption.     

快速响应的超软X光探测器

核聚变等离子体的各种辐射,携有大量等离子体信息。探测这些辐射,是研究等离子体的重要课题之一。在激光等离子体研究中,驱动源的脉宽为毫微秒和亚毫微秒量级,要求探测的仪器时间响应极快速。为了得到激光等离子体电子温度、密度等信息,我们对等离子体辐射的X光连续谱进行了探测研究,并研制出多道X光连续谱仪。     

Flat-top phase-matched high-order harmonics in gas-filled cell

Phase-matched high-order harmonic generation in Ar gas-filled cell is investigated experimentally. We obtain phase-matched 27th order harmonic driven by a commercially available solid-state femtosecond laser system at 0.55 mJ/pulse energy level and 1-kHz repetition rate. Moreover, we find that the spatial distribution of intensity of high-order harmonics is flat-top profile other than a Gaussian one under the condition of optimized conversion efficiency in the static gas cell.     

High and Stable Conversion Efficiency Obtaining in Single-Stage Multi-Crystal Optical Parametric Chirped Pulse Amplification System

An optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification system is demonstrated to provide 32.9% pump-to-signal conversion efficiency. Special techniques are used to make the signal and pump pulses match with each other in both spectral and temporal domains. The broadband 9.5-mJ pulses are produced at the repetition rate of 1 Hz with the gain of over 1.9×10^8. The output energy fluctuation of 7.8% is achieved for the saturated amplification process against the pump fluctuation of 10%.

激光内爆靶的四分幅X射线阴影成像诊断实验和理论模拟

本文报道X射线阴影成像诊断技术的新发展,以及应用新发展的四分幅X射线阴影成像诊断于激光内爆微球靶动力过程的研究结果。我们的一维Lagrangian流体理论模拟程序(WL程序)成功地模拟出实验结果。诊断实验和理论模拟的密切结合是了解内爆动力学过程的必要途径。 关键词：

Improvement of the large aperture Ti：sapphire amplifiers in the petawatt femtosecond laser system at SIOM

We report the recent improvement on the petawatt (PW) femtosecond Ti:sapphire chirped pulse amplification (CPA) laser system at Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences. By enlarging the sizes of the pump and signal beams in the large aperture Ti:sapphire amplifiers and optimizing the whole laser system, the output laser energy before the pulse compressor is upgraded to 42.6 J. Accordingly, the peak power of the laser system exceeds 1 PW. The shot-to-shot instability of the output laser energy at about 40 J is less than ±5%.
