Super-Resolution of Interference Pattern with Independent Laser Beams

We propose a scheme to achieve super-resolution of interference pattern with independent laser beams. We perform an experimental observation of a double-slit interference with two orthogonally polarized laser beams. The resolution of the interference pattern measured by a two-photon detection is doubled provided the two beams illuminate the double-slit with certain incident angles. The scheme is simple and can favour both high intensity and perfect visibility.

Improving Visibility of Diffraction Pattern with Pseudo-Thermal Light

We report an experimental observation of Poisson＇s spot with pseudo-thermal light. The experimental results show that the diffraction pattern disappears in the intensity distribution behind the opaque disc but emerges through both auto-correlation and cross-correlation intensity measurements. The auto-correlation scheme can take care of both better visibility and higher resolution of the diffraction pattern under the condition that the thermal light source has a larger spectral bandwidth.     

Dynamic Polariton and Quantum State Swapping Between an Electromagnetic Field and Atomic Ensemble

We analyse a dynamical swapping of the quantum state in coupled harmonic oscillatros,the result can be applied to the interaction of a single-mode field with atomic ensemble in the weak field case,Similar to the case of electromagnetic induced transparency(EIT),a dynamic polariton is formed.Therefore,the quantum state of the field can be completely mapped on to the atomic medium,and vice versa,Using this dynamical swapping and the adiabatic transfer in the EIT between the field and atomic ensemble,we propose a scheme in which both the quantum and the coherent information can be transferred from one field to another.

本文实验研究毛玻璃转速对鬼成像质量的影响.毛玻璃的转速增加使得散斑的涨落增快,这时散斑场的关联时间减少,到达CCD探测器的散斑场分布开始变得模糊,相当于探测器响应速度变慢,这时不同毛玻璃转速下关联图像的衬噪比基本不变.实验结果表明,当增加毛玻璃转速,即便这时候探测器获得的散斑场分布开始变得模糊,鬼成像的质量不会随之变化.
