The microtextures of matrix, chondrule, single mineral and fused crust in Jilin, Xi Ujimqin Banner and Mianchi chendrites have been studied with SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope). Different kinds of primary and secondary microtextures have been found, so as to distinguish primary and secondary features of meteorites. They reflect that the meteorites underwent many processes during their formations, i.e. condensation, melting, thermal metamorphism, remelting, dissolution, fracture and so on. The microtextures iu single mineral of meteorites are similar to those in matrix and chondrule. According to the chondritic and melting primary microtextures of meteorites, the chondrules of multi-origin are grouped into original chondrules and remelting secondary chondrules. The secondary microtexture of meteoritic dissolution bleb results from that the meteorites are subjected to thermal metamorphism as a result of intergranular stean and solution acting on the meteorites.
