Consistency-dependent optical properties of lubricating grease studied by terahertz spectroscopy 下载免费PDF全文
The optical properties of four kinds of lubricating greases (urea, lithium, extreme pressure lithium, molybdenum disulfide lithium greases) with different NLGL (National Lubricant Grease Institute of America) numbers were investigated using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. Greases with different NLGL grades have unique spectral features in the terahertz range. Comparison of the experimental data with predictions based on Lorentz--Lorenz theory exhibited that the refractive indices of each kind of lubricating grease were dependent on the their consistency. In addition, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as a libricant additive shows strong absorption from 0.2 to 1.4 THz, leading to higher absorption of MoS2-lithium grease than that of lithium grease. 相似文献

We investigate the diffusion interaction and quantitative analysis of zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) mixed with lube base oil (LBO) at different concentrations using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THzTDS).When the concentration exceeds 6.78%,the characteristic absorption peaks exhibit significantly shift,and the absorption coefficient peak value is nonlinear against concentration.Moreover,the absorption coefficients of mixed samples follow the Beer’s law at a concentration below 6.78%.The quantitative analysis enables a strategy for monitoring the formulation of lubricating oil in real time. 相似文献

Mechanically tunable broadband terahertz modulator based on high-aligned Ni nanowire arrays 下载免费PDF全文
We present a mechanically tunable broadband terahertz(THz) modulator based on the high-aligned Ni nanowire(NW)arrays. The modulator is a sandwich structure consisting of two polydimethylsiloxane layers and a central layer of highaligned Ni NW arrays. Our experimental measurements reveal the transmittance of THz wave can be effectively modulated by mechanical stretching. The NW density in arrays increases with the strain increasing, which induced an enhancement in the absorption of THz wave. When the strain increases from 0 to 6.5%, a linear relationship is observed for the variation of modulation depth(MD) of THz wave regarding the strain, and the modulated range is from 0 to 85% in a frequency range from 0.3 THz to 1.8 THz. Moreover, the detectable MD is about 15% regarding the 1% strain change resolution. This flexible Ni NW-based modulator can be promised many applications, such as remote strain sensing, and wearable devices. 相似文献

太赫兹波通过人工金属亚波长结构开口共振环(SRRs)可以产生共振吸收, 目前普遍采用LC振荡电路和线性振子模型来解释. 利用太赫兹时域光谱系统测得并无开口的亚波长金属双环和反双环结构阵列透射的太赫兹波, 结果仍然观察到在太赫兹透射谱中存在吸收峰. 分析得出此吸收峰的出现可以用线性振子模型解释. 此外, 研究发现若将此结构制作到石英基底上, 当以样品表面法线方向为轴旋转样品时其太赫兹透射时域波形和频谱均会随旋转角度出现明显的周期性变化, 而以硅为基底并不出现此现象. 本文将其原因归结为石英基底的双折射效应对亚波长金属双环结构太赫兹透射性质的影响. 本文主要目的是分析造成这种影响的物理过程. 相似文献

利用声表面波(SAW)磁致伸缩效应可以实现一种快速、高灵敏度的电流检测方法,但磁致伸缩薄膜内部矫顽力导致了明显的磁滞误差。磁致伸缩薄膜的栅阵化设计可以减小磁致伸缩时薄膜内部矫顽力,抑制磁滞现象,从而实现高灵敏和低迟滞误差的SAW电流检测。结合有限元和耦合模理论对沉积铁钴(FeCo)薄膜栅阵的声表面波电流传感器中的磁致伸缩效应进行分析,对传感响应进行仿真,确定优化的传感结构参数。为验证理论分析,实验研制了频率为150 MHz的声表面波电流传感器件,并结合差分振荡电路及亥姆霍兹线圈,建立传感器测试系统.实验结果表明,磁致伸缩薄膜的栅阵设计大幅降低了迟滞误差,并显著提升了传感器灵敏度。 相似文献

We utilize the random network model based on phase separation scenario to simulate the conductive behaviour and anisotropic characteristics of resistivity for La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 (LCMO) thin films. The simulated results agree well with our experimental data, showing a metal-to-insulator transition from a high-T paramagnetic (PM) insulating phase to a low-T ferromagnetic (FM) metallic phase in both the untilted film deposited on a (001) SrTiO3 (STO) substrate and the tilted film grown on a vicinal cut STO substrate. It is found that the resistivity of the tilted sample is higher than that of the untilted one, displaying prominent anisotropic characteristics. The studies reveal that the tilting not only decreases the conduction of the FM domains, but also increases the activation energy of the PM regions, inducing the enhancement of resistivity. All those results suggest that the intrinsic inhomogeneity in the phase separation system plays a significant role in the electrical conductivity and the resistive anisotropy is related to the structure of the crystal lattice. 相似文献

<正>Silver nanocluster embedded ZnO composite thin film was observed to have an angle-sensitive and fast photovoltaic effect in the angle range from—90°to 90°,its peak value and the polarity varied regularly with the angle of incidence of the 1.064-μm pulsed Nd:YAG laser radiation onto the ZnO surface.Meanwhile,for each photovoltaic signal,its rising time reached ~2 ns with an open-circuit photovoltage of ~2 ns full width at half-maximum.This angle-sensitive fast photovoltaic effect is expected to put this composite film a candidate for angle-sensitive and fast photodetector. 相似文献

通过对不同开口形状的太赫兹(THz)波段共振环(SRR)的有限时域差分(FDTD)模拟,发现了SRR不同开口形状在发生共振时对开口间距的平均值具有相同的透过率频谱分布的均值效应;并且观察到了在开口边缘很尖的特殊条件下,SRR开口将出现导通现象.此结果可为今后SRR开口工艺设计与质量控制提供参考,也可为SRR工作机理的进一步分析研究提供有关的依据.

Three time-resolved terahertz (THz) spectroscopy methods (optical-pump/THz-probe spectroscopy,THzpump/THz-probe spectroscopy,and THz-pump/optical-probe spectroscopy) are reviewed.These are used to characterize ultrafast dynamics in photo-or THz-excited semiconductors,superconductors,nanomaterials,and other materials.In particular,the optical-pump/THz-probe spectroscopy is utilized to investigate carrier dynamics and the related intervalley scattering phenomena in semiconductors.The recent development of intense pulsed THz sources is expected to affect the research in nonlinear THz responses of various materials. 相似文献
