Intrinsic luminescence from metal nanostructures complements conventional scattering and absorption behaviors and has many interesting and unique features. This phenomenon has attracted considerable research attention in recent years because of its various potential applications. In this review, we discuss recent advances in this field, summarize potential applications for this type of luminescence, and compare theoretical models to describe the phenomena. On the basis of the excitation process, the characteristic features and corresponding applications are summarized briefly in three parts, namely,continuous-wave light, pulsed laser, and electron excitation. A universal physical mechanism likely operates in all these emission processes regardless of differences in the excitation processes; however, there remains some debate surrounding the details of the theoretical model. Further insight into these luminescence phenomena will not only provide a deeper fundamental understanding of plasmonic nanostructures but will also advance and extend their applications.  相似文献

荧光探针技术可以用来测定药物-核酸相互作用的强度。通过药物与核酸相互作用,使DNA与探针键合的程度减小,反映在探针荧光光谱的改变,从而可以了解药物和核酸的作用机理。相互作用常数D为DNA 探针中加入药物后探针的荧光强度相对于DNA 探针荧光强度减去纯探针荧光强度的下降百分数。文章利用盐酸小檗碱(Berberine)作为探针,测定几种抗癌药物加入DNA与荧光探针(盐酸小檗碱)混合溶液的荧光谱,探讨它们与DNA的相互作用。并根据相同浓度的不同药物与核酸相互作用的常数D确定作用强弱。  相似文献

本文报道合成了八种苯甲酸及其一氯代衍生物与邻菲罗啉或联吡啶的稀土铕三元配合物并测得了荧光光谱。通过改变第一和第二配体,研究了配合物发光峰强度、位置和分裂间隔等的变化情况,依据荧光发射峰的分裂推断出Eu~(3 )离子所处的局域环境对称性大致都是C_1,C_2或C_s。虽然配合物的局域对称性大致相同,但由于配体场作用和能级匹配等原因,发光峰位置和强度是不同的;讨论了第一配体分子结构的变化对荧光性能的影响,认为分子自身结构的对称性可能对提高配合物发光性能有较大影响;实验还观察到第二配体也参与配位且对发光性能影响较大。同时看到发光峰的分裂间隔大小变化和发光峰的相对强度的变化是一致的。  相似文献

Colloidal Au and poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) composite thin films are fabricated by spin-coating method. Linear optical absorption measurements of the Au/PVP composite films indicate an absorption peak around 530 nm due to the surface plasmon resonance of gold nanoparticles. Nonlinear optical properties are studied using standard Z-scan technique, and experimental results show large optical nonlinearities of the Au/PVP composite films. A large value of χ^(3)/α up to 0.56× 10-^10esu·cm is obtained, which is comparable to the best values reported in metal/oxlde composite films.  相似文献

A surrounding electromagnetic environment can engineer spontaneous emissions from quantum emitters through the Purcell effect. For instance, a plasmonic antenna can efficiently confine an electromagnetic field and enhance the fluorescent process. In this study, we demonstrate that a photonic microcavity can modulate plasmon-enhanced fluorescence by engineering the local electromagnetic environment. Consequently, we constructed a plasmon-enhanced emitter (PE-emitter), which comprised a nanorod and a nanodiamond, using the nanomanipulation technique. Furthermore, we controlled a polystyrene sphere approaching the PE-emitter and investigated in situ the associated fluorescent spectrum and lifetime. The emission of PE-emitter can be enhanced resonantly at the photonic modes as compared to that within the free spectral range. The spectral shape modulated by photonic modes is independent of the separation between the PS sphere and PE-emitter. The band integral of the fluorescence decay rate can be enhanced or suppressed after the PS sphere couples to the PE-emitters, depending on the coupling strength between the plasmonic antenna and the photonic cavity. These findings can be utilized in sensing and imaging applications.  相似文献

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes and BaTiO3 composite films have been prepared by pulsed-laser deposition technique at room temperature and high temperature of 600℃, separately. The structures of the composite films are investigated by using scanning electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction. The optical behaviours of the samples produced at different temperatures are compared with Raman spectroscopy, and UV-visible absorption. And the observation by Z-scan technique reveals that the composite films have a larger optical nonlinearity, and the samples prepared at high temperatures have better transmittance and opposite sign imaginary part of optical third-order nonlinearity.  相似文献

InGaN/GaN多量子阱热退火的拉曼光谱和荧光光谱   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
通过拉曼光谱及荧光光谱测量研究了采用低压金属有机化学沉积(MOCVD)方法生长的InGaN/GaN多量子阱高温快速热退火处理对量子阱光学性质的影响。观测到退火后InGaN/GaN量子阱的拉曼光谱E2,A1(LO)模式的峰位置出现了红移,而且该振动峰的半高宽也有微小变化。温度升高退火效果更明显。退火使量子阱内应力部分消除,同时In,Ga原子扩散出现相分离使拉曼谱表现出变化。在常温和低温下的光荧光谱表明,退火处理的量子阱发光主峰都出现了红移;而且低温退火出现红移,退火温度升高相对低温退火出现蓝移;同时在低温荧光光谱里看到经过退火处理后原发光峰中主峰旁边弱的峰消失了。讨论了退火对多量子阱光学性质的影响。  相似文献
